There is a rumor flying around that Chambers is on the Trade Block. Personally I think it is about damn time. I know alot of you here like CC and yea sometimes he is incredible, but I have come to realize that he drops to many balls, and dissapears in games. The only place CC thrives is in the slot. We need a number 1 reciever and CC is not. Feel free to kill me for this post.....

Chris Chambers future in Miami is in doubt. My source
tells me he is available for the right price. Some
teams are scared off by his propensity to drop passes
(he was 2nd in the NFL behind Terrell Owens).

How did you get 54,000 Phin Dollars? :lol:

I think the rumor came from the Phins shopping Chambers to Greenbay but they are going for Moss now so we might be stuck with Chambers.
 
Fine by me. Mueller said he wants more picks. This could be a good way to get some. I, for one, have had it with Chambers' under-achieving.

This is so old lol, what a month ago? I already debunked the dude, there are several guys above CC with drops. See for yourself. Chambers wasn't even #1 in the AFC (Andre Johnson)

This rumor is not flying around. Bluehaze just reposted this in another thread. No other online site is reporting this so I don't think it bears any truth.

What I don't understand by some posters here is how they can totally dismiss his previous 5 years when he was clearly the best receiver on the team.
Then one year under Mularkey, who wasn't exactly the best offensive coordinator around, Chambers had a terrible year and now he should be gotten rid of?
 
It is not only his drops. Chambers dissapears in games. He struggles to get open. When was the last time you saw a CB chasing CC. Im sorry but CC needs to go.

Oh yea what are the phin dollars?
 
he wont be gone....yes he is very inconsistent in catching passes however as of now he still has too much potential that i feel other teams will overlook therefore he wont give us as good of trade value. im on the sign joe horn band wagon now, however i dont feel that we will let go of chambers

I think it was more the other way around. The Packers inquired about Chambers but Cam and Mule were still evaluating the players. Green Bay got tired of waiting and are now after Moss.
 
You realize Chambers has had only one 1,000 yrd season in six years. Why dont we compare Chamber to Chad John son in six years. Remember Ocho Cinco has been playing with the Bengals and didnt have a QB till Palmer. CJ has had five 1,000 yrd seasons , CC has one 1,000 yrd season. We can compare him with Steve Smith who has had three 1,000 yrd seasons, and he is big time playmaker. My point is as much as I want to say lets keep Chambers, he is not a number 1 reciever. He is overpaid and is not a difference maker on Sundays. Why do you think teams only focus on our run.
There is the real CC and the one in Madden please dont confuse them......

He also had seasons of 883 898 and 963, so if you want to quarrel about less than 8 yards a game for the 883, 6.3 yards and 2.3 yards a game go ahead! I'll quarrel about Smith not being able to stay healthy.

I do like Johnson though he's good and funny as hell.
