I would but there is nothing to respond to. Your responses are fluff and shows you don't even KNOW the defensive scheme the phins are throwing at you(hence why you couldn't even answer that part). Roll a TE J.T.'s way? Great a one on one match up with J.T against a TE when Taylor's the OLB in the 3-4 (guess who'll be covering your TE there a lot). Or what happens when J.T.'s lined up as the MLB or when J.T. is lined up over your RT or when J.T is lined up as the OLB over the TE on the right side. Every team has double and triple teamed J.T. the past 3 years and he always gets his 9+ sacks. And last year he didn't have Kevin Carter opposite him. This isn't the dolphins scheme of the past 10 years. This is Saban's scheme...you know that scheme he taught Belichek a lot about over the past 10 years?
I suggest you check my post on the previous page if you think I don't know what D Saban is running. The matchup with JT isn't a TE vs JT. It's an OT with a TE sealing allowing Plummer to roll out. Taylor is one of the smartest players along the line in the NFL. He knows that Denver will rollout and that will cause him to hesitate in his pass rush. His primary assignment will be containment, then he can passrush. The scheme is nothing new to the NFL... but it is new to your team which means there WILL be mistakes. I know it's hard for your pea-sized brain to comprehend this, but an offense or defense takes time to learn, refine, and become proficient in a new scheme!
Comparing your TE's to Randy McMicheal is pathetic. 800 yards and 4TD's by McMicheal last year in a system where he maybe only saw 6 balls thrown his way a game. He's now in a more TE friendly system also. The simple fact is that your TE talent is a wash against Seau/Thomas/Crowder/Spragan with occassional cover by Shulters.
There were 9 games in which McMichael was targeted 8 times or more. 3 of those games featured 10 or more times he was targeted. If you're going to lie to make your point then it's proof I've alreay won this arguement! We use multiple TE's in several sets. That's the main reason you see Jeb's #'s drastically reduced when compared to Randy's. For example, Jeb Putzier was targeted 6 times (season high) only once last year. Yet he still had 572 yards and a avg of 16 yards per catch. Tops for ALL NFL TE's! If you look at it from a TE perspective, our TE's accounted for over 800 yards and 7 TD's. That was with Pat Hape, Jeb Putzier, and House as our TE's. This year our TE's are drastically improved. Putzier, Alexander, Jackson, Duke, and Leach. 3 of those guys are faster than any LB on your team. You can find this information by doing a simple search on your draft prospects. Putz ran a 4.6 flat. Nate Jackson is in the 4.5's. Wesley Duke is in the high 4.5's from reports but I can provide any proof for Duke's 40 time. Crowder ran a 4.62 40 and he IS your fastest LB. If you think Sr Seau or Zach are faster well you surely wouldn't bring that arguement!
As for your not leaving man coverage on Boston so wait. Your going to leave 2 of Chambers/McMicheal or Booker on man coverage a lot so you can double team our 3rd WR? All I can say is PLEASE :) Not to mention Brown is an excellent receiver out of the backfield. And don't throw preseason stuff out there. We all know the preseason means nothing.
Again, you don't comprehend too well. When Boston is in the game and the matchup dictates we'll be in zone coverage. Do I need to explain zone coverage to you? Do you think that means that Boston is going to covered in zone coverage and the rest will be man to man??? Ronnie Brown is a good WR out of the backfield. But he's never faced team speed like the Denver Broncos. Our LB's are faster than your safties!!! Our DL is as fast as your LB's!
As for the stats why wouldn't I throw that in there. 3 coaching changes and the stats never changed. That was a "well I lost that argument so I'll toss it out on a technicality.
Three coaching changes and each one of them had NFL experience!!! Big difference. If you think you're making a point your only embarrassing yourself!
The simple fact remains this defense was injury ravaged last year and the offense was more inept and in the middle of coaching changes and you still only squeaked out a 3 pt win. How can you be so ****y that at the lowest point of this teams history in 40 years you only sqeaked out a 3 point win.
I've already covered the game last year. It was a letdown game. Also keep in mind that Denver had it's fair share of injuries last year as well. You discount that Trev Pryce missed the whole season. You forget that our starting DT's missed nearly every game as well. Lenny Walls missed half the season. Injuries are a part of the game... that's where depth comes in and Denver is deeper in every position than the Miami Dolphins. There isn't a single aspect in which your team has an advantage...not one!
