Are you kidding? I have no idea what this coaching staff thinks when it comes to football!:hsmash:

Despite trading up to draft Dion Jordan with the No. 3 overall pick, Dolphins defensive coordinator Kevin Coyle said Tuesday that Jordan will continue to see limited action this season.
Jordan appeared in just nine snaps — or 14 percent of Miami’s defensive plays — in Monday’s 22-19 loss to Tampa Bay. Even with the limited snaps, Jordan produced two hurries on six quarterback dropbacks. He also played on 66 percent of Miami’s special team snaps.
Tampa Bay is a run-heavy team, and Coyle said Jordan will continue to see action in passing situations only.
“Dion is not going to be in there where teams are slugging it out running the football,” Coyle said. “This team threw the ball 21 times in the game, and he was in there for half of them in the rotation that he’s playing in right now. If teams are going to be featuring certain personnel and running the football on first and second down, that’s not Dion’s strength at this point in his time here with us. That’s not going to change this season.”

This staff is a fail.

Sherman said he was surprised by Matthews because he never does that in practice.

Dumb coaches be dumb.

It's a good thing we had all those run stoppers in the Tampa game!

Good God this entire staff is absolutely terrible.

Makes me wonder if this team came out so flat because they feel like this staff is throwing them under the bus in this investigation.

What a waste of a top 3 pick. Should've stayed where they were in the draft and picked up someone who was an every down player and not fricken injured.

Top 3 pick having limited playing time? If they aren't going to use him, why trade up to draft him?

He really does suck against the run, watch the Patriots game. he's also very raw as a pash rusher as to my untrained eye he's slow off the ball (never seems to get a good jump) and tries the same thing everytime, starts with speed rush to the outside and WHEN it doesn't work he tries to come back inside and shed the tackle which also NEVER works. The plays he's made have been on free rushes. I hope he's a long term investment becuase in the short term it looks like Lane Johnson may have been the better pick. Although he was beating the bigger, stronger John Martin (finheaven is laughable sometimes) in practice so I thought he would be great.

I can't say I disagree with Coyle. They see him everyday in practice and he apparently isn't strong enough against the run as a DE at this point in his career. Hopefully he gets better, like JTaylor did.

This organization has been making picks like this for the last 15 years. I feel like this team is the only team that routinely takes high picks and never play them consistently. From Jordan, Jamar Taylor and Will Davis not really ever seeing the field. To Jason Allen and Jamar Fletcher just being terrible to drafting Ronnie Brown 2nd overall and only giving him like 9 carries a game. And of course Ted Ginn( Mike Wallace's superior). It doesn't matter who is running the team the same thing happens. Is it something in the air that just makes any individual that comes to Miami really bad at selecting and handling players?

I don't even know if Ireland can be blamed because this staff refuses to utilize them. This staff is a joke.

First off what are they saving him for?? They won't be around next year!!
Seconf who the hell cares how guys like him and Marshall do in practice?? I hate to channel Allen Iverson here but, "man what are we talking about, Practice? Practice?"
