Next man up!
Let's see who wants it....
Dance with who you brought boys
Ouch. But not unexpected.
Kiko in the middle and Hewitt starts? I like Hewitt
Really sucks for Raekwon, feel bad for the kid.
Hopefully it makes him hungrier next season.
This preseason is really shaping up to be my villain origin story.
I hear good things about Stem Cells....
National guys alwasy get it first -
Luckily ACl injuries aren't crippling like they used to be...
Tough luck for the Chef. I think he would of become one of the favorite players amongst fans in his rookie season (for defense and special teams).
Thank goodness he's only 20. Next man up.
The Cutler signing limiting Miami's cap again. I still want Mangold and now they need another LB.
I get the feeling we dont move on any of those guys listed. Its next man up and we sign someone after cuts etc
That list is awful anyway
Hopefully this makes him hungrier. Losing a season usually does.
I like Hull as well, if he has enough foot speed is my only question.
Trade a late round pick to the Eagles for Mychal Kendricks and move Timmons to MLB.
is it probably going to be Timmons at Mike, Alonso at Will, and Hewitt at Sam?
with alonso and timmons still manning the nickel?
His career may be over before it began
Its likely to be Kiko in the middle, with Timmons at strong and Hewitt on the weakside.
Timmons the only guy with the reps and experience to really play SAM right now. a lighter Kiko/Lacey/Hull/Hewitt all play WILL or MIKE.
In house SAM guys could potentially be Chase Allen . . . or the lesser known Trevor Reilly or Brandon Watts
Really sucks and will be a big blow to our defense...
next man up I suppose.. I doubt we sign someone off the street. I bet one of Kiko/Timmons goes to mike, and Hewitt is probably next up at either olb spot... lacey could be a guy to keep around for weakside depth. Reilly for sam?? Those two would both play special teams. Hull / Allen as our mikes.... jeesh.
run right at us nfl
I know it seems like they are becoming the tommy john of football.
Good lord man
Really bad break for us and for the rookie. Missing a season where he could have learn so much from Timmons and Kiko and playing behind Suh. He won't get that time back. I'd be ok with keeping Timmons and Kiko outside and play Hull or Allen in the middle
With this disappointing news along with Tannehill's unfortunate injury i can't help but to think about Dick Vermeil's infamous "we will rally behind Kurt Warner" speech.
That sports science team is paying off in spades.
Mike Hull is starting MLB. I think thats how this goes
This feels like 2 injuries in 1. It's gonna hurt us at 2 lb spots regardless of how we approach it. Worst off-season since Ricky retired.
Every team will have injuries. It's just hard because we're not a team that can overcome too many of them. If nobody else gets hurt we'll be ok but what happens when Pouncey goes down? I didn't see anyone stand out at center last night and they all had plenty of snaps. We can still have a good season but we can't afford any more of these out for the year injuries before the regular season even starts.
Yeah. I'm not feeling "lighter kiko" at Mike. I think it shakes out with him staying at Will, Timmons to Mike and hash out Sam.
oh Pouncey IS going down don't you worry about that lol
I like this idea!......Kendricks is not happy in Philly so it could work.....issue could be money/cap implications though.
Am I the only one who has noticed that the dialogue in this thread sounds like we are all trying to cast a damn play?
Will, Sam, and Mike are plum roles. I'd also consider Kevin Spacey for one of those parts.
Ummm.....he might not be much worse than a few of the options we have.
It's just a shame for the kid. He was such a bright young man on his way to a great first season only to have it screwed up by the most freak of injuries. Of course, since it's Miami, the news is devastating and he's gone for the year. I don't know why a dark cloud follows this team. I was so excited to see Tannehill and McMillan play this season. I was certain that both players would have tremendous seasons, now neither guy plays a snap, when will this crap stop. I know every team has injuries but starting QB and MLB before the second exhibition game?? BULLCRAP, now leave this team alone for a while.
Let's wait to see what Ryan Tannehill thinks about this medical situation before we make any decisions.
But seriously, i think we roll with Hull.

Well this just sucks! I still think this team can make noise this year I would bring in a veteran LB. we have no depth.
The reality is we lose a 2 down backer and there are plenty of options to fill the spot. Sucks but not devastating loss.
