I'm pretty sure Moreno befitted from Manning's offense. Who wouldn't? They have to stop the pass first which helps a running back's average, and he still was only a 4.1 yard per carry guy. For me the best hing about him was he could at least pick up blitzes, and hopefully help the other backs learn that a little better. The fact that he showed up out of shape makes me think that we won't get much more. I'm really hoping Miller has some kind of breakout year in this new offense, much like I am hoping for Tannehill. I'm not putting any money on either though.People don't like to admit that after more than a decade of watching bad football, they have skewed views of what constitutes "pretty good."
It is strange that you want to cut a player that was "pretty good," though. Personally, I think our RB situation is pretty bad. We know Thomas sucks, we have no idea about Miller (though, by reading some threads, you'd think we have a pro bowler in him), and we have no idea if Moreno's one good year was legit or a product of a stellar passing offense or if he is healthy. Too many question marks for me.
