Dansby not happy with Dolphins’ decision to dump Chad Johnson

I loved the Dansby signing and still think he's a good player for us but he's been pissing me off a little the last couple of years. We don't need him saying this stuff and undermining a new coach in a way. Last but not least, he's sidelined again with an injury. Get on the practice field and be a leader on there, Karlos. Let's go.

that's precisely my take on it. act like a clown, you're cut. play like a bum, you sit the bench. and for dansby to state the incident would be out of character for johnson is absurd. he's wildly insecure and highly emotional plus there's nothing more infuriating than suddenly realizing you married a callous monster.

I could see why Karlos Dansby considers it out of character for Chad. But then, Karlos Dansby probably doesn't realize that Chad Johnson served probation for domestic violence while at junior college. Just sayin.

I am just saying. When I was little my mom and dad got into a fight and mom ran into the room to call the cops. My dad ran in at the same time and they ran into each other. Since my dad was huge my mom fell over on her side. My dad really didn't mean to knock her over. When the police came my mom said he hit her and had the marks to prove it.... Just saying. It is easy for women to win these media fights. My dad went to jail after that. I don't believe ****.

Yeah domestic violence is one area where I do sort of agree with this criticism that the legal system is geared toward believing the woman.

But that's why if I were the Dolphins, I would RUN from this situation. She's got a 3 inch cut on her forehead and she's already given taped and sworn evidence about the incident, has given every indication she will press charges. From a team asset standpoint, he just became a liability...and it doesn't even matter what "really" happened.

tough nuts karlos...chad johnson wasn't gonna do much anyways on the field...and neither was or will david garrard if we keep him around for some assanine reason...

What Karlos should've said - "Coach Philbin has our attention and respect, and I support whatever the team decides to do"...as a supposed "leader" of the team, he should be working towards getting his guys to buy into the Coach's moves, for the betterment of the team...I dont think Zach Thomas, or Ray Lewis would ever oppose their Coach...best LB my ass...

I don't even remember what you're talking about. Did you disagree with me something about Antonio Bryant? I recall doing a catch reel from about 5 of his games. It was every catch. I didn't leave anything out, as I recall. Meant to be informative. I'm not sure where there's room for disagreement on an informational video. He looked like a good free agent prospect, but then we discovered that his knees are F-cked with a capital 'F'. In fact he just got signed by the Seahawks and then when they tried to get him practicing they discovered his legs are still too F-cked to play. C'est la vie.

I love it when people I don't know hold grudges against me for arguments which obviously meant more to them than me, because I don't recall them at all.

Sure there are. LOL.

Please do. I'm actually curious. I was pretty sure I'd heard everything about that issue, even a few bits that never made the public record. But if you can show me something credible that I hadn't already seen, kudos to you.

I am going to dig it up for you give me a few I am at the gym. Not even fort the purpose of I told you so, but more on the lines of high profile players become targets and I think rush to judgment is a bad philosophy. I won't for one minute say players like Marshall and Johnson don't put a target on their back.

i don't understand why people knock on dansby so much...was he out of shape first half of last year...yes...he's still way the hell better than any lb we've had here since zach was in his prime...burnetts much better than anyone else we've had also...by a long shot

Insubordination is just grounds for termination in basically any line of employment.

This isn't a regular job he is the leader of high profile grown men making millions of dollars, you can't just cut and run from controversy that is piss poor leadership.

What is a 'regular job?'

Plenty of millionaires in charge of big, multimillion dollar departments at major international corporations get terminated for insubordination. I know two such men personally.

Professionalism. It matters.

Like I said, I am genuinely curious. I truly don't know what you're talking about and perfectly willing to hear what you are able to cite.
