Nevertheless, I resume my now Norma fury of the worthless scumbag Jonathan Martin is. I have an extremely deep lexicon and I cannot think of a single word that describes the level of cowardly, selfish, pathetic, immature, back stabbing, two faced, and narcissistic behavior that would describe this.

There is a special place in hell for those who false accuse and implicate others for their own personal well being. I hope he has lawn seats there.

exactly right. i remember one time having a very long meeting with a human resources manager about these types of things. harassment is usually taken very seriously by professional organizations.

Those comments are unnecessary and gross, and I've never been a fan of that kind of talk, but... I have worked in construction (briefly), and I have participated in athletics. And unfortunately, this language really isn't new, shocking or offensive to me. I'm not saying it's the same everywhere, but if you think this is the only place in America where guys make comments like this and it's just the normal discourse? It's definitely not.

But yes, this stuff is devastating to the Dolphins right now. 31 other NFL teams are looking around going "holy ****, I'm glad that's not us." And then after they're done saying that, they're going to go "Holy ****... I hope this doesn't happen to us next."

I guess we have similar perspectives. I played sports, worked in construction and work in the fishing industry. So yeah, this sort of talk isnt that weird.

Cornwell's role for the Martin family is simply an advisory one. Which is to say, he's a lawyer, but not necessarily serving as one here.

I am in the minority. It seems that nearly everyone on here just loves and defends Incognito, but I can empathize with Martin. I don't think that he's just after money, I think that he has probably experienced hell from his teammates in the quest to toughen him up. I also can see the O-line coach asking Incognito to pick on him and Richie taking great pleasure in taking it as far as he possibly could.
Most of us on this website share a love for the Dolphins, and after listening to the player interviews, I think that they were probably very honest that they were not aware that there was a problem. But that doesn't mean that there wasn't a problem. Martin just kept it to himself and then it finally blew up in the cafeteria incident.
I guess I just have more natural compassion for Martin and the situation he was in. To all those who see him as a devious snake, we agree to disagree. I still respect your passion for our team, but I just see it a bit differently. I can understand a smart well educated guy not wanting to face a daily torrent of personal abuse from a dumb bigoted thug.

Everyone in this country needs to grow a pair. Seriously, I am all for punishing people who REALLY abuse others. Those who have malicious intent toward others. But in so many cases, it seems that people are RUSHING to be offended. RUNNING to be a victim. It's gross.

Well its a problem either way because people also have the right to not hear these things and it shouldnt be based on who is the most powerful or has the most people around.
I dont have thin skin but in reality somethings should never be said anywhere and we need to stop condoing it by saying we dont know the context or intent because to the person disrespected it really doesnt matter.

The new accusations aren't against Incognito, they are against other players on the team. Martin appears to be willing to drag down every teammate who ever made a dirty joke in his presence...

That quote was bad though. I would knock someone one out if they said that about my sister. I get making a joke about someones sister but that one particular so called "joke" is a bit much . Martin should of told Philbin and/or Ireland before things got to this point. After this season it won't matter, incognito probably wasn't gonna be resigned and Martin has been struggling. If I endured this crap I wouldn't blow up mid season, I would handle it myself. If it's really bad don't be around them, be around the guys you get along with. I'm sure every locker room has guys that don't like each other. I'm still waiting for the one piece of evidence that makes me say now I get it. I'm ready for Tampa Bay!
