It looked a lot likelast season. Bad LT, Derrius drops balls, Feeley gets banged up, Weak running game. But things do tend to look like the year before when you look at players that are the same. It was just an exhibition game for Chicago too, but they won anyway. The team is still a long way from being at full power.

3. Ricky needs to add bulk. He looks so much smaller than a year ago. I know he isnt our bulldozer runningback anymore, but it could be a concern when he has to start moving the piles and breaking tackles.

Hopefully, while he is serving his suspension, he will be able to hit the weights and add some strength to his lower unit. For an average human, there would not be a huge amount of strength gained in 4 weeks, but Ricky is anything but average.

I wasn't too happy with some of the poor coaching decisions, but thats just me second guessing Saban, had Mare you know made that FG i'd be kissing Saban's ***. I was impressed with the Dolphins performance all night long, the 4th stringers played a little iffy but drove down the field well until the pick at the end. The penalties were a joke, and the 1st team secondary looked weak. Also the pass rush didn't look too good with any of the groups. But it's the 1st game, i'm not worried just yet. I'm happy that the injuries were nothing.
