Did You See Matt Moore

its so funny how ****y the tannehill lovers r today.

great we r all happy we won, because truth is id rather be wrong about someone on a message board than be right, but if u guys think everything that is wrong with tannehill has simply vanished just like that, u guys r insane.

he still has a ton to prove before ppl believe everything is fixed

and ryan tannehill? ur point?

u r prob one of those ppl who believe tannehill is better than ryan, lol.

I love my fins, that includes my Qb

People on here act like jerks. Why is it necessary to take a piss on Matt Moore in all this? So far MM has done nothing to inflame the controversy.

And to those who are mad because he didn't suck for luck - the guy has to play for his career not for a 1st pick. Get real and grow up.

That's what I am wondering to.

And let's not forget that they are caught in a troll thread.

This thread was a joke, a funny one.....by the way out of those 6 passes in Buffalo, 2 were pics and he fumbled. I am done with this one because the fact is Tanne had a great game against a Top 10 passing D and showed what this O can do if the receivers hold on to the ball and the QB doesn't always have someone in his face. It helps the QB play better (duh)...it also helped because he finally freaking ran the ball. Also I am by no means saying the Buffalo loss was Moore's fault....it was a team loss. So many people put this all on Tanne and think Moore would come in and lead us to the playoffs. The Buffalo game demonstrated just how much of a complete TEAM let down it was the last 2 weeks. Matt Moore suffered from the same issues Tannehill was facing and threw 2 pics and a fumble in 6 attempts.....because the TEAM as a whole played bad. The QB was not the issue!

alright, i am glad u r done with this, because i would like to be as well.

but to the bold part, i am sorry, but in the nfl, the qb is the most important position on the field.

u r right, a qb can not play 1 vs 11, he needs other players to help, but the same way when a team wins and the qb does not have an off the charts game ( not talking about tannehill, talking about every qb in general) they will get more credit then they deserve, its the same vice versa.

its the most important position, its part of the baggage.

also, when a team scores 0 pts, a qb is going to have to shoulder most of the blame, whether u agree with it or not. its part of playing the most important position in the nfl.

trust me, i am hoping that come december 28th, u r calling me and wv and all the other ppl who have been calling tannehill out and saying how he proved us wrong because we r 11-5 and going to the playoffs, i will be more than glad to be called out and would sit there smiling at being wrong because it will mean playoffs.

that being said, a lot more needs to happen, this week is a start, but will this be similar to all the other good outings he has had followed by a stinker, or will this finally be the time, after being called out by his coach, where he takes over and proves all his doubters wrong.

in 2 weeks we will begin to find out

Vaark,

That Raider pass defense had better looking numbers because prior to today they gave up the second most rushing yards in the league (Jags were 1st). Teams had run the ball 112 times and passed the ball a mere 85 times (differential of 25%). They also faced Geno Smith, The Ahmish Rifle, and withering Tom Brady in that time frame.

Those numbers after today are even worse and we exposed those faulty pass D numbers. They've now given up 633 rushing yards in 4 games. Furthermore, Tannehill and the Miami offense nearly doubled the amount of yards they previously allowed receiving (520).

exactly, also no one is throwing on them late in games because they r always behind by 2 tds it feels like, so everyone trys to run the clock out on oakland.

if u remember, nhamdi asomugha, all i heard about was how awesome he was, and he may have been ok, but its funny how when he went to philly and signed that big contract, he was a nobody, prob because he was highly overrated on oakland due to never really facing consistent pressure

Point taken, and Miller and even Tannehill sure did run well against them. However Tannehill also shredded the same team that just the week previously traveling to New England, held the Pats to 1 TD, 16pts, and Brady to 1 TD pass, 6.3ypa... while giving up 76 yards on the ground. So there's that too. And an argument can be made that not only has Tannehill outdueled Brady head to head the last 2 times they met... but also performed better against the defense that contained Brady.

That Pats are like 27th in the league in passing yards, 25th in TD's, 17th in completions.

They're not the Pats we watched a handful of years ago with TE's ripping everybody apart or Randy Moss. Again, we nearly doubled their total passing yards allowed thru three weeks.

That's why this team needs to jump all over the opportunity to take the AFC East.

but it's still Brady and he seems to have managed to put up 20 pts against us ,, ranked #7 in pass D, and 30pts against MN, ranked #10 top scoring D and #12 in passing yards thru wk 3. If anything Oakland did a better job containing him than MI or MN. Now I understand and agree that this is a small sampling size that could be skewed by subsequent outliers. However, it's what we have to go by, and so far Oakland's D wasn't chopped liver until they met Mr T.

Agree to disagree on all accounts. Brady looks like hot garbage for the most part, hence their poor statistical standing in the NFL through 4 games. If their O-line gets it together and the run game picks up, that could change.

The Raiders aren't 0-4 for nothing.

I think Matt Moore riding the pine is good because that means he can work on the next Foo Fighters album.

It's no secret I have been vocally opposed to starting Moore, but I see no reason to criticize him just to get back at some fanboys on the board. Moore came in and did exactly what he was supposed to do. I don't want him to start, but I am glad to have a quality backup on the roster.

All that matters right now is that when challenged, Tanny passed all over the Raiders and didn't play down to them. That's what we needed to see today and our team got a much needed CONVINCING win before the bye week.
