Did You See Matt Moore

its so funny how ****y the tannehill lovers r today.

great we r all happy we won, because truth is id rather be wrong about someone on a message board than be right, but if u guys think everything that is wrong with tannehill has simply vanished just like that, u guys r insane.

he still has a ton to prove before ppl believe everything is fixed

and ryan tannehill? ur point?

u r prob one of those ppl who believe tannehill is better than ryan, lol.

You completely miss the nature of my post. Tannehill has a lot to prove. The point of the thread is whether or not Ryan is or isn't the answer neither is Matt 2nd String Moore.

Sorry if you can see that.

even the ppl who wanted moore, which included me, never ever said he was the long term solution here if tannehill wasnt.

that being said, if tannehill continues to stink it up ( obviously if he plays like he did today there will be no debate, or even if he plays 75 percent as well as he did today) then he shouldnt be immuned to a benching.

right now its irrelevant, he put that debate to bet for at least 3 weeks prob with todays performance.

if he reverts right back to old ways though vs gb and chicago, then the debate will prob come back, not only among us fans whose opinions mean nothing in the grand scheme of things, but the coaching staff.

glad he responded well today, and unlike some ppl who were outspoken vs tannehill, i will at least give him credit no matter how weak the opponent was. he did what he was supposed to do today.

RT and the team had a pretty good day against a beat up and bad defense. It doesn't change anything about Tannehill. I am happy about the win, but I have not changed my mind about RT.

Quote from my wife after hearing the score..
There is a team more terrible than the Dolphins ?" LMAO.

If Moore has to come in and play this yr me thinks you will be one of those fans who roots against his success smh

I wouldn't have to root against him lol. If Matt Moore comes in and starts it's time to think about a top 5 draft pick becasue we need a QB.

Don't simplify things NY. Forget about Tannehill being replaced because of poor play. What if Tannehill gets on a good run for the next 5 or 6 games and then gets hurt. Will you be like some on FH and stick your head in the sand and just give up before the guy even took the first snap?
Or even worse will you root against him and the Dolphins like a good bunch on FH will do hoping that possibly a couple of losses won't hurt us just to make a point that Tannehill is better than Moore?

The backup QB position is not a position to just replace the starting QB because of poor play. No coach thinks that way. The backup QB's purpose is primarly to replace the starter in case of injury. If the Dolphins would think that Moore is not capable of that I am sure there were much cheaper options out there.
There are a lot of people on here who leaned very far out of the window when it comes to Moore. I even go that far to say, based on posting history, that if Tannehill would play lightsout until our 13th, gets injured but would be back for the playoffs, would root against Moore and the Dolphins to make the playoffs just to make a case against Moore.

Your thoughts?

So why would u bench a guy who could be the future for a guy that we know isn't....

the only reason ppl like myself and wv and others have been calling for moore is because tannehill has really done nothing in 35 games that makes u say '' wow this guy is special'', etc.

It is BS like this that will keep you labeled a hater. The TEAM was not efficient or consistent over the last 2+ seasons. The TEAM!!!!!!!

The TEAM!!!!! was efficient yesterday, not just Tannehill, the TEAM!!!!!!!!

When will you people realize it is a TEAM sport?

Yes the QB can have a huge impact but he cannot do it alone, win or lose.

I don't get it either man...they think the qb is the only guy on the field that matters. The saints have drew brees and theyre 1-3 and got stomped by the cowboys who have a bad defense.

matt moore holds a clipboard better than anyone in the league

guess what?

as good as drew brees has been in his career with the saints, this year he has not played all that well.

in the long run, its all correlated, yes there can be a game or 2 in which the qb puts up 40 plus pts and they lose a shootout and there is nothing the qb can do, but when u look at the big picture, a teams record for the most part will be indictive of how the qb performs.

this is a quarterback driven league, gone r the days where teams r carried by a strong run game, or an elite defense ( u can say how good the seahawks defense is, but wilson is clutch, he makes plays, they r not winning every game 13-10 like the 2000 ravens were able to do )
