Do you think Zach is Hall of Fame worthy?

No - unfortunately - Zach will not be HOF. He is an outstanding LB, but he rarely makes a game changing play. The biggest stat people will point to is number of tackles. First, the defense is designed for him to get the tackles. Second, most of his tackles are 3-4 yards downfield.

Again, Zach is outstanding, just not a game altering LB.

I'm a long time Fin fan (20 years to be exact), but all you Fin fans who think Zach should be in the HOF need to take off your teal and orange shades...lets be realistic if Zach was on the Bills or Jets there is no way any of you would think he is a HOF'er

Speaking of which, Monk played on the Redskins 1991 Superbowl Champion team (Bills fans can jump in here at any time and explain how important he was to the Redskins) that went 14-2, finished #1 on offense and #2 on defense and is generally considered on of the Top-5 Teams in NFL History. Monk led the team in catches that year and had over 1,000 yards receiving and 8 TD's. In the NFC Championship game he caught 5 passes for 94 yards and a TD and in the Superbowl he caught 7 passes for 113 yards.
He played a key role for a truly great team, does that not push him over the top and into what you consider to be the class of receivers that truly belong in the hall?

I'm totally with you on Art Monk. He deserves to be in the HOF and I think that he ultimately will be. I don't know why it hasn't happened yet. I'd be pissed too if I were a skins fan. I remember the latter half of his career. He was fantastic. As far as Zach goes, he is not HOF material yet. If his career continues the way it has considering the normal diminishing of production due to age and such, he will not make it. Something more would have to happen, like playing for another 5-6 years at a very high level or having one or two more exceptional years on a dominant defense that carries the Dolphins to the SB. I don't see either happening so I wouldn't worry about it. He is still a great player--one of the best defensive players in Dolphins history-- and he may very well have his number retired if his career ends in Miami.

If he keeps it up for a few years I say he is a shoe in for the hall of fame. I will admit that Lewis is better, but not by much. Lewis has been to a superbowl that is why he gets so much more attention. Zach is one of the more underated players in the league.

Zach will make the hall of fame if he is part of two superbowl teams.

Ray Lewis didn't carry any team to the Superbowl. He was just a big part of a really good defense.

He was the best player on arguable one of the best defenses ever. And that defense carried them to a Super Bowl.

He won't make the Hall of Fame in his first year of being eligible either.

Even if Zach does make the hof, he has absolutely ZERO chance of being a first ballet hall of famer.

The heart and determination he plays with I can see him in the Hall of Fame for sure and plus if you want to look at stats compare Zach and R.Lweis their stats are very similiar if not near even in most categories.Lewis gets more attention cause he killed 2 people.Zach has the work ethic and one of the biggest hearts in the NFL if not the biggest and has always been ranked 1-2-3 MLB every year he'd have a couple more pro bowls but everyone knows he got snuffed out of 2 or 3 just like taylor has. Zach has always been the anchor of the defense.
Hall of Fame for our beloved 54 that means a new number to retire.

I love ZT as much as just about every other Finfan, but unless we win a SB or two before he retires, he won't be in the HOF...I personally think he deserves to be there because of what he means to the Dolphins, but there is more politics to the HOF and unless you set all the standards (like Marino) during your career for your position, the only way you get in is with SB wins...

you can say the same about Mike Singletary but he didn't carry his team to the superbowl.

But that Bears team wasnt all defense. The Ravens had a crappy offense and the only reason they won that super bowl was because of the defense.

Lewis never killed anybody. He was never charged with murder. Someone who was hanging around him that night alledgedly did. What he was arrested for was not ratting the guy out. Please, do not haphazardly accuse someone of murder.

Ravens had a good running game.

If memory served me correctly the offense scored a couple of touchdowns in that superbowl including a long bomb to Stokley when he burned Jason "over rated" Sehorn
