By all accounts Incog has been a stand up player during his time in Miami. He was voted on and won some award (I'll try and find a link, can't remember the name of the award). He was in commercials lauding for fans to be safe or some ****.

This is all being driven by the 4-letter. IMHO it wouldn't be happening it it was the Patriots or the Jets. It never would have even made the cut to be a story if it was the Giants.

I just don't believe this. If a coach was out to quote toughen up a player why would you ask a guy that plays the same position. I would ask Pual solia,oliver vernon, cam wake,or randy starks. You know the defensive linemen who work against martin in practice. What better way to toughen up a guy than to let cam wake beat on him for 2 hours in the blazing south florida sun.
I am going to blame Ireland again, he picked a soft OL who needed toughening up leading to this mess. Shouldn't a job interview process weed out these types of candidates? I wonder if Philbin wouldn't have just liked to cut Martin at some point but couldn't because he was a high pick.

Did the coaches specifically say toughen him up? Did the coaches say "Encourage him to report to OTAs?"
If the latter, I'm not ready to douse the entire staff in gasoline for this one. Let's see what else comes out first.

Nah, they like riding the Jets Circus angle too... But the Patriots? You saw how they handled the Hernandez thing... Damn, they were slobbering all over Kraft for "doing the right thing" and releasing Hernandez the INSTANT it was known that he was a mass-murderin' drug kingpin.
