Not being sarcastic here nor am I trying to be negative but my question is, why are you guys so high on him? I get that the ravens have done great at getting great players but I'm pretty sure Ozzie's te one calling the shots. How do we know that DeCosta would do just as good? Again, not trying to stir stuff up, just want to know what is it that makes you guys feel that he'd be a great GM? Other than the fact he's been in the ravens's staff?

Again though let's make this clear. He's got it made in Baltimore and has been all but promised the job when Ozzie steps down. It would take an amazing offer to get him.

But if Ross could pull that hire off...

I think there is some merit for him to get from under Ozzie's shadow and make it on his own so to speak. Plus how long is it going to be before Ozzy decides to retire? If they give him what he wants and a lot of money to go with that I'm not sure why he wouldn't want to have the Miami job.
