Dolphins cuts thread

and now i'm starting to question if they know what they are doing or not

We'll see how it all works out. I would have kept Orchard around, but nobody has ever lost sleep because they didn't have Nate Orchard in the lineup. If your team is such that it's going to suffer by not having a player like Nate Orchard around, the odds are your team wasn't that good to begin with. With all these dbs and linebackers that excell in special teams being added you would think there's no need to keep a player like Walt AIkens around. Aikens is great on special teams but gives you little as a db option.
Johnson Bademosi who came from the Texans in the Tunsil/Stills blockbuster trade is also a DB but his speciality is Special Teams. His addition may make Aikens more expendable.

Remember the scene from the movie Draft Day starring Kevin Costner as the Cleveland GM when he also demands the Special teams ace thrown into the trade deal? I get the impression that our GM, Chris Grier may have demanded Bademosi as the Special Teams ace to be included with the draft picks for Tunsil/Stills deal. Maybe I'm wrong but life may have just imitated art.

Really thought Aikens was out of here... .

Considering Aikens is a vet you'd think he's gone with all the new ST's players we have but maybe they're looking for him to rally all these new players. I'd think he's gone after this year tho if not sooner.

Massive turnover in the roster in the past few days. Effectively, 11 new players have been added:

- Johnson Bademosi - DB emphasis on Special Teams

- Vince Biegel - LB - traded for Kiko

- Evan Boehm - OG

- James Crawford - LB

- Julien Davenport - OT

- Danny Isidora - OG

- John Jenkins - DT

- Deon Lacey - LB

- Avery Moss - LB

- Steven Parker - DB

- Taylor Pepper - LS

- Ken Webster - DB

You guys are simply missing the utter brilliance of these moves!

So... You can't follow? Well, imagine how the Ravens feel?

Totally confused as to who we have and who we don't!

This could be an entirely new way of "game planning"

and setting your roster for each opponent!

Call it the confusion vortex!

Watch and learn! We can resign Orchard next Tues!

Move 'em in. Move 'em out.

Dolphins offseason: On video poker at the casino, sometimes I see the hand and instead of holding anything just tap the "deal again" button to get 5 new cards.

Bedemosi is also a former Patriot so he knows some of the defense.

And I was told an NFL team would never tank. I think Mr. Grier has proven that theory wrong.

I would expect Carradine and Orchard back after this week's game, but who really knows!
