Johnson Bademosi who came from the Texans in the Tunsil/Stills blockbuster trade is also a DB but his speciality is Special Teams. His addition may make Aikens more expendable. We'll see how it all works out. I would have kept Orchard around, but nobody has ever lost sleep because they didn't have Nate Orchard in the lineup. If your team is such that it's going to suffer by not having a player like Nate Orchard around, the odds are your team wasn't that good to begin with. With all these dbs and linebackers that excell in special teams being added you would think there's no need to keep a player like Walt AIkens around. Aikens is great on special teams but gives you little as a db option.

Remember the scene from the movie Draft Day starring Kevin Costner as the Cleveland GM when he also demands the Special teams ace thrown into the trade deal? I get the impression that our GM, Chris Grier may have demanded Bademosi as the Special Teams ace to be included with the draft picks for Tunsil/Stills deal. Maybe I'm wrong but life may have just imitated art.
Who told you that? Jim Irsay? And I was told an NFL team would never tank. I think Mr. Grier has proven that theory wrong.
