Cam Wake never played in a 3-4 before. Wake even played in a league where they line up 3 yards off the line of scrimmage before coming here. Saying Osi cant play in a 3-4 is just dumb.

never said he can't do it first of all...so don't put words in my mouth...and what do both those 3-4 teams have that we don't high end qbs and they're both win now contenders...

and cam wake these guys weren't even sure of when they brought him here...thus the 4 year $4.5 mil contract which tells you they had an easy out if it didn't work out...but osi 5 years $60 mil...thats different...and assuming wake and osi are the same risk...well thats just dumb
 
The Ravens play a hybrid defense and my friend who's a Ravens fan said they used a lot of 4-3 looks last year. Suggs gets most of his sacks playing DE, so I'm sure they could use Osi in that role too.


I don't know what the Bear's cap numbers are, but they could be the darkhorse to sign him.
 
I wouldn't buy into Profootballfocus; that site's ranking system is hilarious at times. I remember they had David Garrard ranked ahead of Tom Brady back in 2009 and had B-Marsh outside of the top 30 for wide receivers.

footballoutsiders is a much better site with more detail, and best of all, it's free.
 
yeah...i have a hard time with osis not a top 20 pass rusher in the league...a very hard time
 
Wouldn't like this deal that much. We already have a great D, and we should give draft picks up for someone on offense, not defense.
 
Sounds like the Dolphins want to go the 2000 Ravens or 2002 Buccs way of winning a Championship without a QB.
 
Load up on D. 3 - 0 is still a win :)

The idea that this would free up a D lineman for a trade with Denver is interesting and maybe true.

Him and Orton and we did good and are ready to compete. We shall see.
