except it wasn't huge, it was a good deal. if he failed they could get rid of him easily which they did. we didn't get rid of him for money reasons this offseason, we could easily have carried his contract and still had the most cap room left in the division. it was a worthy gamble, where he failed was in bringing talent to play alongside him. while Miami spent boatloads to help Ryan last year and couldn't get to the playoffs, we cut back on O and expected mark to succeed anyway. No QB would have succeeded w/ the situation he was in during the 2012 season and had he not gotten hurt last year he'd still be starting today.
