Dolphins in discussions with Will Allen

Right the guaranteed contract for being on a week 1 roster the finheaven GM's like to talk about is complete crap, or you don't cut Benny Sapp during week 2. Hell I think Allen was going to make less than Sapp.

Allen AND Sapp should have made the team out of camp. Leave two vets with Smith and Davis.

Carroll was the issue IMO

Really makes you question this regimes talent evaluation process, Why did they ever release him!:idk:

Should've been questioning their talent evaluation long before now. I lost all faith when we passed on Earl Thomas, a playmaker at a position of need for Odrick and Misi.

According to a tweet from Jeff Darlington, the Dolphins are in discussions with Will Allen. Guess Nolan Carroll will be the next CB to go if Will Allen comes on board.

only one game too late. good luck making it to the playoffs if u cant beat new england at home. whole offseason to prepare to win this game. and these idiots dont even know who their top corners are? and dont have the sense to realize this secondary didnt have enough depth or enough talent? the one move we made was jimmy wilson in the 7th round? in a divison with tom brady?

i dont think there is a single member of finheaven that can honestly say even just with what weve seen that will allen shouldnt have been on the opening day roster or shouldnt in all likelihood been our nickel back to start the season ahead of sapp. how does the coaching staff get something so obvious wrong?

If Will Allen comes in here and is learly better than Carroll and Sapp we should all be happy but pissed at the FO.

Ross should fire Sparano & Ireland just for costing him $1.6 million to keep Sapp on the roster for an extra week, only to get repeatedly torched. This regime has utterly jumped the shark. It probably did after Parcells walked. Or maybe it did right after Pennington got hurt and they couldn't rely on him to run the offense anymore.

Probably didn't want his salary guaranteed for the season if he was on the Week 1 roster...

Now if we resign him, that isn't the case and I assume we pay him on a pro rata basis?

this is the reason. but that reason isnt good enough! if u play the patriots week one at home. YOU FIELD YOUR BEST TEAM. allen is better than sapp and we were playing new england. no excuse. its garbage. its a dumb decision. even the premise of it is a joke. these guys are clowns. they find some talent, but they fumble way too much when it matters. they are the tony romo of front offices and coaching staffs, and they expect their team to play any better? its a joke

I had Allen making the team. We still lose last night with him, but he proved enough to make the team.

Davis, Smith, Allen, Sapp, Carroll, Williams should have made the team out of camp, IMO. Why? EXACTLY what happened last night. You can never have enough corners esp. with the sked we have out of the gates.

Obvious poor planning and why the poor pass defense was on Ireland last night.

the fact that they have already made this move should tell you something. they knew he was better they tried to be cute. worried about his injury history, didnt want to guarantee his contract. yet benny sapp just got 1.6 million for one game. brilliant. he makes more than the quarterback that beat his *** up and down the field. these guys are idiots. play your best 46. stop jacking off.
