Cameron Wake isnt going anywhere. Wake and Jones are the heart and soul of this team. Dont ever get rid of them.

Buys us a year to see if the tackle from UVA or Jessie Davis are long term options at RT. We made a long term offer at a reasonable price and James said no. This is better than over-paying long term or just letting him walk.
I have no words. Next we'll extend pouncey for 5 years with a 10 mil year average
James wasn't extended.

Just my opinion of course. But if James is worth 9.3mill/year Juice was worth 18!
There is ZERO value in the James deal. He's soft and weak in the run game... Barff!

Sounds more to me like.....We are going to pay you a couple more million this year so we can see if you can actually stay on the field AND show some consistency because we haven't been able to figure it out over the last 4 years. We don't want to be locked in further if you look the same as you have in the past 4 years.
