Well at least he can't be embarrassed any further. Poor luck for the kid. Heal up man and where ever you may go good luck.

Miami Dolphins running back Kalen Ballage’s disappointing season has come to end due to an injury he suffered in Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Dolphins trainers appeared to examine Ballage’s left Achilles tendon on the field after he suffered the injury while untouched and running a route out of the backfield during the second quarter. MRI has shown a complete tear.

Miami could also look toward the waiver wire or unsigned free agents to support their running back position during the final four games of the season.

Laird finished with a 4-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter that helped seal Miami’s third victory of the season. However, he did finish with 5 net yards on 10 carries.

Gaskin finished with two carries for 20 yards.

Wide receiver Albert Wilson led the Dolphins with two carries for 31 yards while Miami lined up in a Wildcat formation.

The Dolphins will face the New York Jets (4-8) this Sunday at MetLife Stadium.

Yeah that’s what it looked like to me Sunday. Popped the Achilles.

He was on the injury report for it prior.

Might be the last of mr ballage in miami

That's a touch injury to come back from, and one that means he likely won't be able to play much in 2020.

RB is a position definitely in need of some bodies this offseason.

That sucks for him, that's a really tough injury to recover from. Especially for a RB. Good luck to him in his recovery!

Tough to see any reason to bring him back after this. Hate for it to be like this but his future was in doubt regardless.

Wonder if he still thinks he's got nothing to prove?

Was wondering the same … hate it for any player … that said he could've chosen his words carefully … IMO a player that touts that he has nothing to prove is a player that has proven something ... and at this level he has not

Good luck to him on his recovery

You'll never hear Tom Brady say that while he's still playing. Ballage was awful this year, one of 5 running backs to average less than 2 yards in NFL history, the other four played in the 1930's. In any case, those comments are telling.

Bye bye

We should be drafting 2 rbs this year in the 3-5rd range.

All of our rb's combined are averaging less than 3 yards a carry this season. Going to need to use some picks and money to find a new crew.

Ouch. Good chance of missing most of next season too. Poor Lippett wasn't the same corner after the injury.
Definitely still a hit or miss injury for recovery.
