I'm going to admit that I wasn't a fan of Hickey at first but I'm really impressed so far. Ireland would've spent close to $16 million to keep both Starks and Soliai where Hickey just didn't panic and got Starks and Mitchell for less than $10 million. Locking up Grimes and Albert are huge moves, as well as Delmas on a prove it deal. I'm sure Carroll and Clemons would've been offered contracts around 4-5 million per year as well, because Ireland drafted them. I'm not opposed to bringing one or even both of those players back but it will only be for team friendly deals. I think the perception of the Dolphins has changed dramatically over the last week because of the solid moves that Hickey has made. Hopefully another lineman or 2 and maybe a Ben Tate signing before the Draft and this team will be a lot better this year.
