And that's exactly what's going to happen to Quinn

That Houston cap hit was brutal . . . .over $21 million.

Quinn is a little more than half of that.

I do believe he gets waived as well, but I like his chances of getting traded more than I did Houston’s.

Every team in the league knew KC wasn’t gonna carry that cap hit and it certainly wasn’t worth trading for.

Houston is over 30 and was due well over 40 million over the next two years.

Nobody was going to trade into that contract even though Houston is about as good as it gets as a 3-4 OLB.

Quinn(a 4-3 only DE) is just 28 and only has one more year at close to 13 mil and nothing guaranteed.

Completely different guys and situations. Trying to compare them in any way is just stretching things way to far.

Houston had 0 motivation to sign a new contract whereas Quinn has ample reason to sign a new contract if traded.
