Dolphins should cut Chad Johnson.

Our wr core looks like clown college! You took the words out of my mouth.

I think people are sleeping on Wallace...Sparano never threw the ball his way, and the only game Moore got a pass was in the Raiders game. Bess is a top 5 slot guy. I'm not a Hartline fan so I'll leave it at that. Are we bottom 25% in the league at WR? Yes. Do they all blow? No.

I don't know why Miami hasn't drafted a WR in the 1st or 2nd rd the last couple of seasons. Could of used at least one instead of drafting all these damn lineman.

How about Hakiem Nicks instead of Vontea?

Listen no one beats up the meatball like I do! But he wasn't out there throwing the ball tunnel vision robo shrek was! Back to Wallace he shows signs and vanishes, kid has no excuse thise year because the race is wide open!

I don't think we should expect big numbers & nothing more than 10 big plays from Chad. His job IS too develop the young talent. He may not know it, but Philbmin & co do. He demands that #1 shut down DB like Revis, Peterson, etc. which in turn will cancel both him
& the DB out of the game bringing it to a 10 on 10, leaving the field open for Bess, Hartline, Bush, Wallace, Moore. Pruitt, Clay, BJ, & Moore. That's where Chad's value is so prominent, he won't be making the catches, but the field will be open for one of the others to be open for the catch.

So let's not cut him, let's use him for that reason & be smart about why he's really out there, regardless what he thinks. He def demands attention & adds a lot of unseen value to the team by canceling out a Revis or shut down DB.

Keep Hartline, Bess, Wallace, Pruitt, Cunningham and Matthews. Develop the youngn's. Chad doesn't fit.

I think you need to keep Nanee. He is still fairly young and has been our best receiver in camp, behind Bess. Not sure who to take off your list though to keep him. I would have yo say Cunningham or Matthews, but if Matthews continues to get the return yardage, he has to stay.

I wouldn't cut a guy after 1 series and 1 BAD drop. I do think they need to give him some more PT and let the younger guys have a full fledge competition with everyone besides Bess. I don't mind keeping Wallace, Moore, and Pruitt around. They seem hard working and all 3 seem like they have real potential. But we have to keep things in perspective too though. We don't see these guys perform on a day to day basis like the coaching staff. I'm just excited to see how this game reflects on the next depth chart.

Do not forget that Chad Johnson was signed only after B Hartline was not able to start the season. I always thought the day Hartline starts playing would be Johnson's last. But again as has been said, because we DO have a number of good young WRs. I simply would rather invest in a rookie WR for instance then use that slot on a 35 year old who will cost 4 times as much.

That is another point. On the day the season starts we will owe Chad Johnson $980,0000 that will count against against our cap. We release him before then and we owe him nothing.

Nothing personal for Chad, he might have dropped that pass but look at a replay of it and watch that sick move Chad put on the corner.
:jawdrop:

I would be tempted to cut Nanee based on the number he picked! 19 makes me puke!

Man.... I was NOT happy when we passed on Nicks and took VD. The pick grew on me because we did need a corner, but I was very sure Nicks would be a stud.
