Donovan McNabb

i would take warren moon over them i would take Randell c over them and i would take Rodney Pete over them the could run but they could stay in the pocket and beat you with their arm too

Mcnabb is a great QB. The last time he played the great Dolphins D he was unstopable. I disagree with the people that say he's not good. My brother in law is a eagles fan so I see Mcnabb alot. He is a great all aroung QB, both in the pocket and out.

That said if he went anywhere the Philly fans would freak and I wouldn't blame them. Cause they ain't gonna get someone better than him.

good what have they done the both had great wr and cried like little girls because the wrs were being mean to them Dan would have kiss their *** to have a to or moss in his day of playing ball. and the point that i am making is if you contain the from running wild on you they well not beat you with their arm because they all cant read a defence:fire:

I like Owens and Moss, but McNabb and Culpepper are very good players in the league. I really don't believe them to be run-first guys, and if they did not have the ability to read a defense they would be off with Akili Smith. Culpepper was bad this season, but if it weren't for Manning having one of the greatest seasons ever for a Qb in 04, Culpepper would have been MVP. I think you probably could've worded that alot better to get your point across....

Culpepper last year had a QB rating just under 111(!). MVP numbers.

His career is 91.5.

McNabb's last year was 104.7. His career is 84.1.

McNair in 2003 (before his 2004 injury) had a QB rating of 100. His career is 83.3.

QB rating, by the way, doesn't factor scrambling in at all. It is comp%, YPA, TD and INT ratios.

ALL of those guys can throw and read defenses like pro-bowlers.

I am going to try to take this one step further.

1. Dante Culpepper lost his OC (Linehan) and his all-world receiver Randy Moss. I will give him a Mulligan last season. He was always known for his passing ability and he was not even close to considered one of the best scrambling QB's in the NFL. His knee injury scares me to the point that I would not trade for him this offseason.

2. Donovan McNabb is a good NFL QB. He can pass and run adequately and I would be happy if we got him at a reasonable price. I do not think he is one of the eilite QB's in the league.

3. Steve McNair was one of the top five QB's in the NFL for a long time and it was not his legs that got him on that pedestal. Sad to say, but he is washed up now, IMO. Too many injuries and to many sacks. No tread left on those tires. I think he has maybe one more average season left in him and he is either a backup/mentor or out of the league altogether.

I think people hate the idea of a Qb who can run because they believe they always will run and never pass. Just because a Qb has the ability to run and make plays with his legs, some people hold it against them.

:D and take the throws away that he threw to t.o and he stats would not be that good yes or no .the same way with love boat take moss away and what do you get a crap QB i am not trying to be and *** about it they are not all star QB that can take a team on their backs all year and win when they need to. that is what i am say and their is a lot of shirty pocket QB to out Ryan leaf Scott mitchell the huard brothers the Brock brothers Tim c Jeff g Scott zolak and a lot more i am saying that they could not hold a jock to Marion or moon or Randell in their day and the black QB that played be hind terry b on the steelers i cant remember his name he would of bend great if he could have left the white powder alone

Say what you want about McNabb or Culpepper, but they're clear upgrades from Frerotte.

Considering how the Philly media and fans have turned on Donovan, whats the chances of him wanting to get away from the eagles and if so what kind of a fit do you think he would be in Miami? Alot of negative history in Philly and those fans are brutal.

Why is it that I read the dumbest things here on this board?

So, McNabb, a PRO-BOWL QB who took 3 years struggling with the West Coast Offense before he mastered it is gonna come here and re-learn a new offense?

Do you understand ANYTHING about the details of the game or do you watch football the way Americans watch rugby?

Mike Vick, Brett Farvre, McNAbb these guys have been running a variation of a west coast offense for years. Not ONE of them is going to start over now. Because a QB can look PRETTY bad while he's learning a system.

These guys all know what they're doing all ready.

Got it?

That's why we won't sign T.O. either, West coast guy. That offense is in NO WAY similar to the long routes Linehan employed last year.

Got it? PLEASE LEARN!! Please tell me you got it!

DAMN!
