No I have no problem if your not a fan of fielder. It was a generalization, not meant to be aimed at anyone specific. I'm not a big fan of his either. He's an average QB with all the fans expectations on him living in a legends shadow. He's eventually doomed.

However I get tired of this crap of blantant jay bashing. This defense of ours should be getting more bashing then Jay by and far. Since our defense has been suspect in 3 of 4 games we have played. Yet we have blind fans who only want to talk about how ****ty Jay or Jamar is.

this was defenitely a team loss. the thing that i liked that JF did was throwing it away when nothing was there and taking the sack instead of doing something stupid. which he did anyways. he threw some ducks anyway you look at it but i think that comes from two things, norv got away from running the ball in the secdon half when we were drilling them before the half with ricky. dumb move. also they were getting to JF, which causes problems for any QB including Bledsoe, Farve, and donovan mcnabb. everyone would have you believe that this is a game of superstars in the fantasy league mentality. but it is about teamwork and sticking together and being leaders along with having the talent to make it execute. noone from coaches on down yesterday did that. its just one of those games. you go home, lick your wounds and kick the crap out of NE! that is what teh remedy is. at home, hot sun, and stick it to Tom Brady! patrick surtain where are you?

I don't agree about Fiedler but I do agree that it is not a good idea to talk to a bunch of guys about how good looking a player is. I think it destroys any credibility any of us women on this board have as far as our football opinions.

Now on to Fiedler. I can't say I think he is anything better than an average qb but to say he can "bite my ass" is a bit harsh. Do you like Lucas? I just don't think we have a lot of alternatives right now. The fact is our defense put us in a sorry situation yesterday. J.T., Zach, Freeman (!) , Madison...they played poorly. What was up with the O line? Why was Fiedler having to rush every pass? Where was Ricky????

Ricky had a good day...

... and that’s why it’s so confusing the Dolphins stopped running the ball in the 2nd half when they were down 8-points. Ricky has busted 4 big plays this season, I don't get why they stopped giving him the pill. Maybe because he fumbled earlier? I don't think so; I think Norv Turner may have panicked a lil bit.

But the turnovers started early on, and the D couldn't stop the KC offense. You can’t spot an explosive offense like KC's 10 points at home and expect to beat them.

Yup, that is what I am saying. Do you really think it matters what a player looks like when discussing their performance in a game or their value to their team? How does saying J.T. is gorgeous add anything to the discussion? It makes you look like an airhead with no facts to back up your statements other than how good the guy looks.

Lighten up chica! I sure hope you never have any female children...poor dears would grow up thinking it's a mans world. I'm not an airhead....actually I am a pretty intelligent female who luvs football. (And I do take advantage of "drooling" over those close up shots of the football players!!) Big deal....Might be true I can't quote stats as some peeps can.....doesn't make me any less of a fan though. And as for me adding to the discussion....I'm just posting what I feel at the time...ya don't like....don't read. :p
 
Hey I just calls em like I sees them. I have my opinions about which of the fins are hot too. However, I do not choose to incorporate them into my discussions with these guys. This is my choice, opinionated one, as was yours to put the J.T. statement out there.

P.S. I do have a daughter...ruh roh...
 
Well, I don't have any kids nor do I want any. I agree with girlphan on this one. I have been on this board for a year as of next week and I can tell you for a fact, these guys could care less about a football player's looks. I am all for a hot looking man, but to be honest, when I watch a football game, I don't even care that they are men. It's all about the game, baby!! :evil:
