dont drink the matt moore kool aid

moore is so god damned good he's stuck 2nd on the depth chart of the miami ****ing dolphins.... right... he knows how to play the qb position and he can't even start for the dolphins who haven't had a qb for a damn decade... this guy is so god damned good, that he was the player of the game in the first preseason game and probably didn't even get off 2nd on the depth chart...
X... c'mon man... nobody wants this kid. nobody is banging on matt moores frickin door at night saying. yo dogg... your a damn good qb. we see it with our eyes. we don't need stats, your better than player x, plain and simple... why don't you come start for us????

I've never said henne is an all star. I do think he's better than matt moore. I didnt' see **** from matt moore in carolina... they thought enough of him to keep clausen and draft a high risk cam newton and send moore packing, not really giving a pile of hot garbage where he landed, cuz he's just that damn good.

Whats a football?

Matt Moore's Kool aid Taste better than the Chad Henne Kool aid.

Honestly, isn't that like saying you like the taste of cat turds better than dog ****??? Henne and Moore are both mediocre at best and most of you guys just want change for the sake of change.

Moores koolaid is a career 73.9 passer rating........but to uneducted fins fans.....2 td against 2nd and third team d makes him the next coming of christ. Unfortunately best chance for this team to win is Henne. Sink or swim this year.....get your franchise qb next yr if it all plays out like 90% of this website thinks

what about those statlines over a career don't scream STUD to you?????? matt moore knows the qb position...
I thought it was just me, and 31 other nfl teams that didn't know this

Kdawg my man, why do you still think Henne is the clear cut? Based off what?

Not hating, just wanna know your view on the situation at hand

I think you factor in the offseason work, the leadership role he has taken, the positives in practice, the limited time Moore has been here and i still think more upside lies with Chad Henne. I do think Moore showed some accuracy and some anticipation tonight, and I love his mobility. He played well. I can't sit up here and make excuses either way, not to support any agenda . . . I just want good QB play, and I think we saw glimpses of good QB play from both guys tonight.

I think my thing is, Moore played better tonight, but Chad Henne literally had one bad throw . . . he looks more athletic this year, he did a great job sidestepping the blitzer and getting off a throw (which was dropped), he had a nice little scramble for 10 yards, 2 drops . . . Chad Henne didn't play bad, and that is the message I'm getting from alot of people and that is just fiction in my eyes. Chad Henne played solid, Moore played better . . . can't wait to see these 2 next week. But i can't lean on Moore being alot closer based on this game. All Moore did this game was spark conversation up, which is fine, I hope he continues to play well and if Henne does struggle and Moore continues playing like this . . . I think the Moore starting talk has more merit. That isn't a knock on Moore though.

I don't see what is wrong with wanting change for the sake of change, especially when pretty much anyone involved with covering and analyzing football knows that QB is the position holding us back.

I happen to think that sticking with the same crap just because you're too afraid to do anything else is about ten times worse.

GASP! How dare you.

Also pretty much anyone involved with covering and analyzing football has said Matt Moore is worse than Henne and nothing more than a backup.

I agree with you about not sticking with the same old crap but we don't really have a better option. Just more of the same or possibly even worse.

Chad Henne's night can be boiled down to one bad throw. But isn't that the story of his career? In 2009, in games against the Titans and Texans, he had done a heck of a lot to dig himself out a hole, and then screwed it all up with one bad throw. And in numerous other games that year, he played well only to throw picks that gave the other team, which should have been out of it, a window to get back in and luckily for him, our defense somehow held in games against the Bucs, Patriots, and others. Last year against the Patriots he was playing great and dominating, until that one bad throw.

Even if Henne's night was only brought down by one bad throw, it's still more of the same crap to me, and has me as unconvinced as ever that he's magically going to stop doing that.

Most people said we were pretty stupid for Matt Moore being our competition for Henne, which I agree with. But they haven't specifically said that Moore was worse than Henne, instead it was more a sign that we really weren't fully determined to replace Henne, which was the most ridiculous thing of all.

But with that said, Moore was accurate, mobile, and playmaking, and the one mistake he made wasn't even a big deal. I think any of these experts that both of us are referring to who actually watched this game are going to come out strongly in favor of Moore.

I see that youth is working against you, but I'll say it anyway....the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

But Henne's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, I mean, the cheese fell off his cracker, he's a few fries short of a happy meal. Know what I'm sayin?

It's one game my friend. Tyler THigpen looked solid against the Titans and then promptly crapped the bed against the Bears. Talk with me when he does this (outplays Henne) for the entire preseason.
