Drew Rosenhaus: McCoy will be hired as dolphins head coach

You know why the Broncos didn't call very many three step drop pass plays this season? Because Tebow can't hit them. Some guy over on OrangeMane actually went through each play of a couple of Broncos games. They called two three step drop passes and Tebow put them both in the dirt. He's been awful on five step drops, too. Almost all of his big plays come when he's got time to sit back in the pocket or extend the play by breaking outside.

Like Gary Stevens said, you can't make chicken salad out of chicken ****.

I don't think McCoy is the ideal candidate but if you're going to blame him for that boring Denver offense, then at least consider that he literally had Ronnie Brown back there playing QB and that his rushing attack was good enough to make it to the divisional round of the playoffs after trading away its #1 weapon on offense halfway through the season.

tell that guy on orangemane he shouldn't have to do a play by play breakdown of tebows games to figure that out...and brandon lloyds not a #1 anything
 
Why do you guys continue listening to this idiot? He is no different then anybody else with speculation. He throws so much sh*t against the wall that occasionally a piece sticks. Rosenhaus is a self centered moron.

Lol. I agree with that. But you gotta remember that those Broncos fans are delusional. They think Tebow is awesome and that he's the only reason they made the playoffs. It's true he had a couple of real good games against the Vikings and Steelers (when they had 9 guys in the box) but he was just dreadful for the most part. They're going to need a ****ing miracle in the offseason to get him ready to play. Elway is in a really unenviable position right now, stuck with a kid who can't play QB and a fanbase that thinks he's the second coming.

Maybe, but we can't help it that the big boys want to stay on TV and that our front office won't even talk to guys like Billick or Schottenheimer who at least have some good stuff on their resumes.

I'm not thrilled about any of these three candidates but I'm pretty confident that both McCoy and Philbin would be better than Sparano, so I'm trying to remain upbeat.

Mike Zimmer was only initially receptive. He later pulled his name out of contention (as did Toub). Marc Kohn (who has calling McCoy to Miami for days now) reported this.

No one was willing to believe Kohn's reporting even though his inside scoop on the Fisher deal was before anyone's. But if McCoy is announced hopefully people will backtrack and recognize that he was right... that Zimmer and Toub rejected the Dolphins after friends in the league advised them to, not the other way around.
 
I like McCoy, he won a playoff game with very little talent. Also, think he has that "it" factor. He strikes me as a leader of men. I am good with him or Philbin (assuming he brings Flynn and Clements).

better than sparano does not make for a good thing...none of these 3 guys right now at this time should be in hc consideration...none of em...they're all lookin for a kneedle in a haystack prayers
