Eight Types of Miami Dolphins Fans

Pretty good article from the get-go: I hate those "two kinds of fans" things. Don't they have any imagination? This guy does, and he wrote his piece well. Of course, fan number 5 is a gimmick, but 7 is too predictable, so he went with 8. Good call.

Yup, now a jaded fan that was a former Marino era fan. They got that part nailed down pretty well. Sadly spent some time as an eternal optimist in the 2000s... eventually the years of mediocrity caught up to me.

Born in Carolina, but have been living in Jagville for many years. When I was a Kid,we naturally didn't have a team in Carolina,so Dad raised and reared me a 'Fin. I'm guessing I'd be a mix between the Eternal Optimist/Out of Towner. However, I bleed Aqua/Orange so heavily.....I consider myself a Miamian. When I was born,it was by "C-Section"....."BECAUSE MY 'FIN WAS SO LARGE"!!! I'm both Blessed and Honored to be a part of this Brethren......"I'M A 'FIN4LIFE"!!!! (:

I had the Griese shirt! I remember a lot of kids had the Roger Staubach shirt in my grade school. Sad thing is I can name every player: Dan Fouts, Steve Grogan, Walter Payton, Doug Williams, Earl Campbell, Richard Todd, Harold Carmichael, Dave Casper, Joe Theismann, Gary Danielson, Bob Griese, Bert Jones, Randy Gradishar, David Whitehurst, Greg Pruitt, Archie Manning, Jim Zorn, Steve Bartkowski, Pat Haden, Ted McKnight (I think), Jim Hart, Chuck Foreman. And of course Staubach and Franco Harris. God, I need a life! Pretty cool seeing these again tho
