Emmanuel Acho going all in on Tua

Every time I watch Herbert play, I don’t see the QB the media raves about.

He definitely has some impress plays and maybe it is just a coincidence when I watch him, but I saw a throw 10 yards past the end zone against Auburn, 4th quarter interceptions, pick 6s, missed reads, etc.

I also expect Burrow to not look as good with Chase out. He still has a great cast around him, but Chase adds 20+ points to his QB rating turning short passes and questionable throws into long TDs.
Reminds me of a beautiful girl with a great bod but dumb as a brick. That’s Herbert. Not the brightest bulb in the pack.

I haven’t come to any final conclusion. I’ve simple stated right now he is what he has always been. I’ve also admitted that can change but think it’s highly unlikely. Right now I absolutely love Herbie! He’s extremely predictable and I bet heavily against him. For the past 2 years he’s been my human ATM!
Ok noted

No I'm not denying that. His win loss record is definitely a good thing for us.

His wins have a much more to do with the fact that the wins are coming from complementary football at its finest. Whether it's the defense and/or special teams to seal the games. If its not them, then it's Tua. But really there have only been three games that we won BECAUSE of Tua... imo... Baltimore and Buffalo this year and Arizona his rookie year. The other aspect is we don't score much points with Tua at qb. For instance, according to teamrankings.com we are currently sitting at 19 in ppg at 21. The last three games averaging 16 ppg. The Chargers (since this is the origin of this convo) are sitting at 11th averaging 23.4 ppg. Not a big spread but in their last three games they are averaging 24 ppg compared to our 16. Now, we all know Tua wasn't playing those games so let's go back further. In 2021 Miami was sitting at 22nd at 20.1 ppg while the chargers were at 5 with 27.9. A much bigger margin.

At the end of the day, this only gives you a view of how powerful the offense is but W-L record is what matters. And Tua has the better W-L record lucky for us!!!
....the last 3 games.... 2 of which Tua didnt play? Isnt that what this argument is about? In that case you should only be looking at the games he has played fully in, or at least meaningful amounts

Imo projection is based on what you think he will be become even with some of the things you deem or weaknesses

Now I understand if you are saying you see fatal flaws that’s different

In case you didn’t know this, football IQ is not the same as book IQ.
Higher probability that he is able to pick up concepts, I agree there is an innate instinct that the great ones have when it comes to decision making but having a Good base is preferred

You didn't read my whole post did you? I clearly stated that. It's exactly the reason I included 2021 stats

Ahh yeah my bad, I didn’t see that part

But don’t you think going back to 2021 … we are once again back to the times of the questionable team. No run game, no OL, limited weapons, limited coaching…. Ehhhh

After watching this video it's nice to see Tua getting some love but at the same time record vs Belichick
Herbert has shown me levels of performance from a young Qb that project very well as he continues to gain experience..I believe he is playing hurt since his injury was sustained

What Qb is overrated at this point ? Really dont know, dont have an opinion on it at this point..
This is also my point of view. Can we still have this conversation if we remove the 4th quarter from the Ravens game? Though I'm glad he's getting some attention, most are still on a high after that one spectacular quarter.

It wasn't just 1 quarter.

During the first 3 games, Miamis scoring efficiency was one of the tops in the game

This 1 quarter talking point is a myth.

Miami played 2 of the top defenses in the first 3 weeks. They played 2 offensive power houses. They won all 3 games while being one of the top scoring efficient teams in the league.

Very simple. If you want then to score more points, first 3 weeks, don't allow the opposing teams offense to have the ball for 41 mins.

Sunday was the first game this year, with Tua, where the offense was not overly efficient.

Isn‘t Tua undefeated against Belichick?
