I have been wondering what the meaning behind the trade is. Maybe this is it.

The meaning behind the trade was that he wasn't making the team so get the most you can for him (if you can get anything).

I do hope Long steps up this year. Would be a huge addition, especially with Gesecki's contract situation.

as I said in another thread, I could see similar type deals for Preston and Bowden. Package them and a pick to move up

I think this means we're either only keeping 3 TE's or congrats to Cethan on staying around another year

I stayed out of that thread after seeing several posts about how "you'll never get anything for Williams". It's like those people have never paid attention to NFL before. Trades like that happen all the time. Williams specifically may or may not get traded, but saying "it'll never happen" is just a stupid thing to say.
