Fish Castoff D-Line vs the "Browncos"

Did I say anyone that got banned failed to break your TOS? Your awful touchy about the whole banning thing dont ya think.

What I'm "touchy" about is people claiming we are "Taliban like" and ban people for no good reason.... then waffle when actually confronted about it.

Fish and Hoof, my point is that if the Broncos stay around and hope to make the big move to win in the 4th quarter, they will not get it done easly...

The weather and humidity here at 1-4 PM is a killer for the home team, imagine for the out of town opponents...

One thing in my first statement is that, basically all Mini Camp and Training Camp that the Fins participated on was around that time of the day. Some of the paractices were right around noon. They have been condition for the right time in their Season schedule.

I believe that is the Home Team advantage that they have had in the past and it continues...

I do agree with that winning in the fourth will be hard for any road team in Miami. We have the same thing in Denver the elevation takes a huge toll on visitors in the 4th. As a Bronco fan Im hoping to have a comfy lead going into the 4th but all in all nobody knows esp. in the first game of the season whats going to happen.

It's forecast to be 90. It was 100 last week at game time in Phoenix, 120 on the field. Our 1st unit didn't even play and our 2nd team beat their 1st team. Heat won't be a factor. A sloppy field could be.

your second team playing half a game doesn't matter... if we sustain a drive and your first team is out there in the heat, it'll effect them, believe me, and when the 4th quarter hits and that sun is beaming down on them as we pound the ball... it will have an effect, it even effects us and we've been practicing in it... your guys will definately feel it

Sorry to upset you but this board is known for a very quick hook.

Great, spectacular, awesome. I've NEVER saw anyone get banned that didn't deserve it.

Warren has shown nothing in his career that would make me think he will be dominant other than getting drafted too high. The only thing physically freakish about Courtney Brown is how much he gets injured. Your defense line is not a top 3 line. You have a really good player in Pryce on the Dline and that's about it. I'd rather have Taylor, less injuries, more playmaking. Seau might not be what he used to be but we have a kid that will surpise you in Crowder. Thomas is by no means a "geezer" yet. You need to take off your horse blinders. You only beat a Dolphins team by 3 last year at home that had nothing going for it and you believe that now you will blow out a much improved team at their house. Myself, I think it will be a close game and we will see who wins on Suday. My prediction......Fins-17 Broncos-13
Interesting points. 1) Warren was the scapegoat for Cleveland's sorry D. He's been stellar in Denver so far. You will see on Sunday. 2) Courtney Brown has Bruce Smith-like talent. As I said, anything we get from him is merely gravy but IF he manages to stay healthy, he's a stud. 3) You'd rather have Traylor than Pryce?:rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: You forget WE already had Traylor when he was still in his prime. He's long past that now. How many 35 year old NT's do you see that can play? Nuff said. 4) The close game last year was close only on the scoreboard. Look it up. You were dominated on both sides of the ball, 2:1 in total offense, time of possession...we ran the ball down your throats. a 3:1 turnover dissadvantage kept it close. Also, Denver played poorly down the stretch for the last 6 games. Don't expect it in the operner. 4) You THINK this team is improved...based on what? A rookie head coach? A rookie running back yet to take his first pro snap? A QB who is a career backup and can't run at all? Signing other teams castoffs who were as non-productive as you accuse the "Browncos" of being?

That seems like wishfull thinking to me.

My point exactly.... it's the people who come here to cause trouble that cry out how unfair we are...

I would never come here to cause trouble ;) Ok maybe but you should wait to ban me until next week I promised some of the fine folks here to come back win or lose.

I have to admit, I have read some of Hoofbeats other posts and he just wants to talk football. He is allowed his opnion just like we state ours. Obviously these are not going to be the same.
On your post, these three guys maybe young but have shown nothign through there careers so far. So your point that changing teams has helped other players excel than this point can be brought up about Gus. He could flourish in Miami but you keep considering him donkey dung. Didn't he throw for a team record in yards and five tds for you guys. Your team respects him but the fans don't. What you need to hope for is that Pryce has a dramatic effect on the guys surrounding him. that could happen or you could ahve the same three bums from the Browns who after Lewis stated he was gonna run all over them and then did just that. We will just keep away from Pryce and run over the other bum d linemen. I call them that because up until this point they have been. Until proven otherwise they are bums. I've been to Arizona and to Miami. I could go for a run in Arizona but I would die in Miami. Humidity is the difference. Its the same as players having to play i the mountains who aren't used to it, thin air effects people differently just like Humidity. You have a streak over four games in a row. Check who hold the record for most opening day wins in a row. The Phins. September road victories don't come easy in Miami. Once again I will wish your team no injuries and I hope they lose.

We go 9 deep on the DL and rotate them at will. By the 4th quarter, I expect to see most 2nd stringers in there anyway for us. It shouldn't be a problem.

we'll be winning by that much that you'll put in the 2nd stringers? haha i guess we agree on that

That seems like wishfull thinking to me.

1. I was comparing our teams best DL players and said I would take JASON TAYLOR over T. Pryce.
2. You don't have to tell me you ran the ball down our throat.
3. Yes I believe our team is improved and anyone who takes of their blinders will admit that fact. YOu should know coaching can improve a team greatly. Rookie RBs can have great success in thier 1st year. Also, we might actually have a gameplan on offense going into a game this year.
4. I don't know what to expect from Denver but I think you are totally underestimating the Dolphins.
5. Like I've said to any of the Denver fans, come back after the game and I will gladly discuss it with you no matter the outcome.

;) Yeah some people get something in their mind and can't get around it. He just wants to talk crap about Traylor when I never spoke a word about him.
