I don't agree with using the words "flashes of brilliance" with any QB except Mike Vick, because unless you're talking about some kind of Brett Favre, Mike Vick, John Elway feat of strength where you duck multiple tacklers run around and zing off a laser off your back foot 40 yards downfield right on the money, quarterbacks can't show "flashes of brilliance" except in their consistency, which means "brilliance" can't really be measured in "flashes".
Again, I'd have to find out from Migs himself whether he actually attended these camps or not, but I would be surprised if he did.
What I was concerned with is posters are seeing what he wrote, and are taking like it was written by someone like Alex Marvez or Jason Cole. Migs didn't state at the top of the article that he went to the mini-camps, so I am a little confused...I think it's more likely he is reporting "word of mouth" type stuff, which is fine I really appreciate how he gives these updates on his site on what is going on in Dolphinsland, as kind of a summary of ALL media reports coming out from anywhere about the Phins. His site is very valuable that way.
There's nothing to disagree about, I understand your post, I was giving him the benefit of a doubt, his terminology was the same as some other reporters. I understand your use of the word, I think they are more dazzle by the type of throw sometimes. Consistency is defintely the key word in AJ's life right now. He needs to be that very much. If only he'd played more to get a sense of him. You broke down his performance with the eagles last year and gave him a pretty nice passing grade. Unfortunately he got behind our OL and couldn't reproduce what you outlined in your report. So for me, AJ is still a work in progress, if he learns to read D's, with his arm, he has a bright future.
