He was also being facetious. Or so he says.
Similar to when Simon got on twitter and said that if the Dolphins win 6 games then everyone should be fired, or something like that.
Its truly a no brainier Josh is out there playing with moxie with a horrible line in front of him and still producing. His ball is noticeably better by a mile. He passes the eye test, Fitz should be the backup and mentor this year and wouldn't be horrible in that position for a couple of seasons. For what it's worth: in the post game show Flores said that they will re-evaluate the QB position.

If you want him to succeed careful what you wish for... Baltimore, New England, Dallas, LA Chargers to start the season. Most of the posters who trash Rosen and pump Tua (or whoever) are just digging in on their earlier (and preliminary) positions...
AFRAID they'll have to eat a bit of criticism from the rest of us...
So they get hyper-critical about this or that play and then hope for the worst... being more interested in their own reputation than our team's welfare.
They are crappy fans and genuinely sad human beings.
That said.. Rosen played VERY well... again. Better than Fitz. Better movement in the pocket... better touch on passes... just better... and he's 22.
Come to Jesus you nay-sayers.

Even if he is better than Fitz he will most likely get eaten alive by those defenses and Miami's OL.
Then your stuck praying your Jesus igets resurrected as you turn him into a martyr blaming the OL, HC, OC, blah blah blah.
Finheaven just went through that the past 7 years with Tannehill. No need to start that nonsense already with Rosen.
Flores is a smart guy. Most likely Rosen starts the season on the sideline until after the bye week.
There's not a whole left to evaluate. Nothing is going to change among these qb's between now and the start of practice for week 1. It is what it is. It's just a matter of Flores wanting to start off with a vet who will at the very least run the offense competently or a "quasi" rookie, who you know will have his head scratching moments running the offense. At this point their play is about equal. For what it's worth: in the post game show Flores said that they will re-evaluate the QB position.
