Anyway, I think it was CC who said that the crowd was sorry yesterday and left with 6 minutes to go. Shameful.
no cc and others (maddog) referenced the fact when the rain hit at end of second quarter when indy had ball and moved into position for field goal they NEEDED the fans.

and i will be at ravens game and skins game section 142 row 4 seats 9-10-11-12 proudly wearing my orange #34 screaming my butt off as always pouring rain or not.

it has always been like that at pro (family has had season tix for 2 generations) and after 19 years living in south fla (up to 89) before moving (love, marriage and 2 kids) to ct. (moving back next sept.) it kills me like the jets game 2000 when we lose 20-3 and the ny fans own the pro chanting that sickly sounding jets chant.

there are plenty other nfl fans out there that stay through anything to watch there team win or lose no difference they are there.

this team needed the fans help and don't get it from the fair weather group. geeze bring a disposable poncho or go in the pro shop there and grab a finz poncho there cheap enough but don't run out when this team needed the fans support and noise which effects every qb peyton manning included.

Hey great post! Thats what I personally want to hear from our fellow fin fans, especially from our lifelong season ticket holders. Chevy will be in row 4 of sec. 142 (i envy you) screaming and squealing like a Dolphin, I hope others in his area can join him. Will you? Forget the heat, forget the humidity, forget the rain, and forget your personal image - do your part in helping the character of Miami fans, which in turn will reflect on our Team's appreciation and ultimately performance. Anyone who has played sports with large crowds KNOWS what a difference it makes!

Hell yeah Chev!! Almost every game I go to ends up being a damn monsoon!! I remember being at the Marino retirement game vs Baltimore. The freaking sky was falling!! And I got really sick for 2 weeks after that. It was freezing and I couldn't stop shaking. But never once did it cross our mind to leave. Same with the Steelers game (with Zach's infamous "Bus Stop" in '98). Freaking monsoon hit. And we ran those Steelers fans out. :D

That's why I dress in light, comfortable raggedy clothes for Phins games and keep a change in the car. If and when the bottom falls out, I'm more than ready. :D

I was at both of those games and some other monsoons besides. The Bears Monday night game last year was another one.

I just carry a poncho and never have any trouble. I barely get wet at all.

I've been a fan for 27 yrs and I flew to Miami from Pittsburgh just to see the game and I left pissed off, and it wasn't just because of our performance. We were louder when the phins had the ball than we were when Indy had it. I was hoarse from yelling the whole time on defense but the fans who barely cheered on defense screamed when we had the ball on offense. Don't you realize the offense would like silence to run thier plays??? It is supposed to be home field advantage. And to all those people who wouldn't sit in the 10 minute rain you should be ashamed to call yourselves fans. What are you gonna melt??? And those who left with 6 minutes to go in the game are even worse. What could you possibly have better to do on a sunday afternoon than to watch our dolphins play. I almost missed my flight. I absolutley hate the fans in pittsburgh but at least they know when to cheer and when to be quiet, also they sit through freezing weather and snow just to watch. A 10 minute rain in pittsburgh means real smashmouth football. If your just there to tailgate and socialize give up your seats and let the real phin fans watch the game. I spent hundreds of dollars and missed time from work just to support our team. I only get to see road games and get tortured from opposing fans but somehow I still felt cheated from my experience from our home field. If your taking offence to this know this should have been said a long time ago, others who aren't taking offence know what I'm talking about.....

when we were at the colt game in 2000, it rained like a son-of-a-gun when we were in the parking lot, then it cleared up like nothing ever happened!
