I know football well enough that Nevada sportsbooks pay me to chart and analyze stats for them. Likewise a couple of bigtime bettors. It's primarily basic stuff in the NFL: run the ball often, pass the ball well.
Yards per attempt is ignorantly ignored by the mainstream media including ESPN. Whenever I see the overall QB rating published or mentioned they might as well be playing the Monty Python theme song in the background. The overall QB rating is the chic stat right now but it's useless. The sportsbooks don't care about it. I've never heard a single major Las Vegas handicapper who utilizes it.
You're referring to whoever has the better yds per pass atempt coupled with the better rush per game wins right?
