older age has not been good to me. i have diabetes which gave me debilitating diabetic nerve pain. lupus [thanks mom!] which causes me awful bouts of inflamation sun sickness which really aggravates my COPD, caused from all the trash i pumped through my lungs as a young buck. i also, like this guys wife, have p/n. it sucks, your legs get puffy and discolored but you do NOT need anyone at home for that!! i get blood clots in my legs and lungs and have to take blood thinners the rest of my life, ALL the veins in my leggs are shreded so i have some experience with all this.
hickey doesnt appear to be a calloused guy. but you can bet he saw this guy milking his work at home and ran him. i feel for his wife. i am sure hickey and the team does also. but, there is a job to be done that HE signed on to do!! you can not do a lot of QUALITY SCOUTING from your couch. there are many, many, many folks out there with sick family members. and they feel they need to do more at home, they should seek other employment that allows them to do so. every company has by laws in the employee handbook about what they expect as far as time in the shop.
obviously, this guy was milking it. spending to much time at home and not with his job on the road or at the facility. i would say he doesnt have a prayer in this but we are now living in the age of the whiner, the slacker and he will land a liberal judge who HATES football as its a metaphor for violence in society and the dominance of the males over the female species proven by cheerleaders on the sideline where they are forced to be fixated on the male dominant violence to keep them in a mind state of being oppressed and hopeless. and he will win.
and jonathon martins mom will make a HUGE payday for defending this d-bag.
