I guess my thought is if the team says we want all of our scouts to work out of the home office that doesn't sound like discrimination to me. Now if they're letting other scouts work from home in other cities but not this one scout with a sick wife that would be another story.
I see your point but where the Dolphins messed up was allowing it in the first place...they made accommodations then a new GM comes in and say we won't do it.....I think the burden will be on Hickey to prove why he feels this reasonable accommodation will hurt his business.... if this scout was doing a poor job then he should have fired him for that not because he wouldn't leave his sick wife at home and spend more time in Davie.....the best case scenario would be its legal and gives the team another black eye...if he is a good scout then shame on Hickey for not checking his ego for a good employee of 17 years....
