Free Agency Breaking News- NFL - Breaking News Thread 2025 Offseason

First money we've put against 2026 all offseason?

No restructured Jackson as well which goes against 2026, currently 4 million under 2026 with 41 signed, rookies will probably put us over however it all gets fixed with a tyreek hill cut or trade would bring us to 41 and Chubb post June 1st would bring us to 61.

I suspect that we did the same with both Lamm and Wynn... at least, I hope so.
I’d love to agree with this.

Except we didn’t sign another backup LT and we still don’t have anyone signed for LG.

Kion Smith is a good backup T but that’s all we got at this point… and again, we don’t even have competition for LG starter (just two potential backups).

Its early yet.

There are a couple of FAs left, plus more will shake loose post draft, they always do.

And it comes down to the draft as well. If we actually draft 2 rookies early... we'll be pretty full.

We can live with the defense we have on paper if we can find another DT somehow.

If making the playoffs next season is in the stars, using our first two picks on Oline is the most likley way to accomplish that and hope one of the two is good as a rookie.

Grier has an abysmal track record with Olinemen in the draft, it will take luck, especially with the linemen he picks in round 2.

Yeah, I mean if we get a OG in the first 2 rounds and maybe a OT as a developmental guy around 4-5-6 you are correct. And then it makes more sense to move on from Lamm as he won’t be here in 2-3 years when we are *hopefully* more competitive.

This year is definitely a “let’s refocus” year with the hopes of being semi competitive (not sure yet).

Yea im the delusional one

It's good that you identified and accepted your condition. The next step is rectifying it.

There has been nary a whisper about Hernandez anywhere. I wonder if his recovery from the knee injury last season isn't going very well.

Or he could be one of those guys who wants to wait until after the draft to pick his spot. It's hard to say.
