Gesicki, Will he be part of Flo future plan?

He infrequently lines up inline and wondered if he is considered a "True TE"

Further, what about Kittle who does primarily lineup inline?

p.s. All things being what they are.... I'd like to see the phins use the 13 personnel grouping more.
Yes true on both players because they are such threats in the passing game, however when in line they are not a tell or a liability..unfortunately Gesicki is both in that regard imo.

Gesicki is a big play kind of TE -- dude can kill you down the middle... faced a lot of close attention coverage which should relax a bit with additions -- Dude defeated doubles and even a triple... He's an emerging monster and Flo + Co better figure how to max his talents because they're formidable,

Gesicki is not much of a yac guy. He finally took a few steps at the end of fhe year, still a bit awkward but worth keeping if possible thats for sure.

Assuming, as most of us are, that hes never going to be a traditional TE how much do you play him when Fuller, Parker, and Waddle are healthy? Fuller provides value as an over the top threat every time he steps on the field, Parker is a better receiver, and Waddle the more explosive playmaker.

Barely anyone is a traditional tight end. Most tight ends are flanker tight ends. We line them in the slot.

The best one, like Kelce and Cronk, line up just off tackle.
Kelce isnt a traditional tight end. In fact hes the least traditional. He leads his team in almost receiving category. 2nd of all time receiving leader. He is the teams number one target. Leads in yards, and scrimmage yards. Yards a game, most targeted, receptions, catching percentage. Not even Tony Gonzalez in his prime lead his team in all of these categories, not gronk, or any te ever.

Eventually we have to resign some of our own players. Resigned sanders but I can see them letting baker gesicki . I like to keep both.
