It is crazy how back up QBs can look so great coming in for a team, get a big contract and suck for the next team! Flynn, McCown, Cassel, just to name a few recently.

Its not just QB's. The "system" and chemistry a player has on a team really matters. That's why in FA I hate seeing us get "big names" for "big money". Chances are, they aren't going to work. In FA, just get the journeyman at a reasonable rate...then you end up with someone like STARKS. If they don't work out, it is easy to get rid of them. You don't go get Marshall, Wallace, or any other big name. Sometimes things do work, but the odds are they won't. Look at the difference in Chicago and Miami for Marshall...he didn't work for us, and because he cost us a lot we, got screwed.

In FA...go for journeyman...not big names...or the "grass is greener" back-ups...

Glennon...maybe the Fins should make a move to get him and Mike James from Tampa bay.
We could trade them Daniel Thomas, Lobato, and throw in Wheeler. Sounds like a great deal for both sides.
