Godsey and Dorsey 2 rumours flying around Twitter

I said earlier in the wk that we were hiring an outside candidate. Looks more and more likely it’s Dorsey. If we loved Pep we would have offered, same with a current coach. Waiting on a coach currently in playoffs and Dorsey makes sense. Hopefully after the Bills lose tomorrow he will be announced. Lol
If the Bills make it to SB and we still have not made a hire, I bet my Pat White Jersey it'll be Dorsey.

I heard on a podcast studsville not godsey is the leading inside guy. which I think would do a great job. if he isn't the oc someone will poach him next imo
Then why hasn't anyone poached studsboy yet?

Havn't seen or heard about him going out on one single interview.

However, i said day one when the "search" started that studley was going to be the cheap, easy hire. Flo's comments on him were just WAAAYY to over the top and sickeningly glorified for it not to be. It's gonna be the old, "well, we searched through everyone but there were to many complications with some a and a few took other jobs but in the end we feel we had the right man in our camp the whole time and were, well,....we are just dog gone glad to have him"!!

Lazy times again in finzland.

Only If he brings allen with him will that be worth a chit. Dorsey and the old dolphins castoff coach Brian Daboll are not the bills offense. Jason Allen and Stephon Diggs are what makes the bills offense deadly.

Dorsey and Dribble can go drive the trash truck. They will be just as worth while to the bills or us doing that. Assistant groundskeepers? Theres a shot at being worthwhile.

What makes you think someone will poach him?

I hear the comments of Flo praising him and players loving him. But he has coached 26 years, 23 of which as an NFL RB coach. He's never called plays on any level.
And that resume is the reason i have been no go on Studley since day one.

Thanks for posting that. Hopefully fans will see all this studzboy crap for what it is........, CRAP!!! I want flo to stay completely out of all things offense and stay in the lane he is accomplished at, defense and leading men. Flo is starting to look like a guy who needs to be doing it all, and ghat is generally paranoia driven. Wanny was the same thing, stepped out of his lane (defense) and didnt want anyone coming in knowing something he didn't. He wouldnt hire anyone who used the west coast offense (the hot offense of that period) and it was let known from many that wanny couldn't understand it and thus couldn't exact control over it.

When wanny brought in Norv Turner, we were all excited that the 2 great cowboy coordinators were going to be reunited, IN MIAMI!! Norv was also excited. But....., as it went on everyone was noticing that this wasnt looking like the old aggressive norv offensive scheme. Even billichek was asked once about the oc he feared most and right off said norv turner. He said norv is aggressive and you never know what he will dial up for any game.

And it got weaker and weaker and then norv didnt come back. And norv was dissapointed. The fans were saying that it looked like wanny was holding norv back, something was up!! And sure enough, norv said he was not able to run his offense that dave had basically nuetered it. Said he never thought dave would do that. And there it was, we fans were correct. And norv went on to coach washington with some great offenses. As he did in dallas. Miami had a new oc every year after.

Hope flo isnt trippin' like pornstache dave. I mean really, a 25 year career rb coach who never called a play over an experienced pep hamilton? Hmmmm. Come on flo, surprise us all.

The more it drags out, the more likely it'll be outside hire.

I can't think of a reason why its taken so long if its an internal promotion.

Godsey with the Texans was not impressive.

I do wonder if it's going to be studs tho now that we got a QB coach for Tua that was a ex QB.

Doesn't look like it's Pep with him now going to interview for the Titans....

Was Allen still his old inaccurate self this season?

Dorsey helped get Allen to reach his potential, he could help in Miami with Tua and the other parts of the offense.

Allen was coached up the last 2 years so I don't know who you think gets that credit. Josh didn't just wake up this year and decide he wanted to play better.

Getting the actual name of the QB right would be a start for a worthwhile post.

I've seen Getsy's name thrown around here as an alternative possible option to Dorsey here as well.

Anybody have any insight into the comparisons between them?

One reason for a delay might be to get educated and get an insight about what others outside of the organization think about our players, existing schemes, etc., and how they would make it better.

New Twitter chatter this morning seemed to indicate it's Dorsey, we're just waiting for the Bills to get eliminated.

I would be a fan of the hire if it is in fact the case.
