B. He was drafted too early but there was no guarantee he would be there in a trade down scenario. If Miami passed they would have certainly had to trade up to get either him or Weeden. Getting the QB was the #1 priority of the draft and they did it.

If you really follow the Dolphins & football ... you know the grade is far-ranging!! .... ripples throughout the franchise ....

Tannehil ... good prospect. Hope he doesn't get stuck on the Learning Curve like most QB prospects (often, even the best prospects). NO one knows yet!!

Ireland ... probably keep him off the hot seat & in pay checks a couple years

Philbin ... will reduce pressure & prolong his tenure, even with a slow start ... just like Sparano & "improving-Henne mirage"

Ross ... sell a few tickets & dim the white-hot-dufus spotlight!!

Fans ... franchise hope, as long as the QB has a glimmer of future success
