Gus never given a fair shake to start since Washington?.. WRONG

Man, Im sorry I so offended you.. I did not know you were a Frerotte.. Next time I will just make up stuff instead of posting real stats that might offend others..

Your blood relative sounds like a cool guy, and he played pretty good on Monday, but that still doesnt erase his LONG history of mediocrity.

I just don't like useless spam, that's all. God knows there are more than enough useless threads on this board, and reposting stuff isn't helping.

No way.. The 2004 Miami Team was probably the most inept offensive team in the history of the league.. NO RBs, and NO OL.. 2002 Cincy team had both of those things.. I presume the Wash team's did as well Didnt they have Davis? Turner was a terrible HC, but one thing he was good at was building a nice offense on his teams..

I'm not talking about last year, Frerotte didn't play on last year's team. The team as it currently is, right now in 2005, is better than the mid 90s Washington teams, that Detroit team, and the awful 2-14 Cincy team.

Its neither useless, nor spam.. Its eductional and a reality check. I hope either Gus or AJ can do something for this team, but the odds are against us.. the truth is, Feeley IS our best chance, for present success, and future success.. Frerotte has never displayed any consistency.. Feeley has never had time too.. Frerotte has proven mediocre for 12 years.. Feeley only got his first chance to prove his mediocrity last season...

Ok, yet you base Feeley's potential and performance off last season, correct? So... Should we display Feeley's stats from a better offensive system than the 2004 Dolphins?

Ok:

2002 Philadelphia Eagles 6 5 154 86 55.8 1011 6.56 53 6 5 7/48 15 3 75.4

http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/235056

4-1 Record. (Revised ;) )

That's all fine, what I don't understand is why you don't post it in

which are all about the same subject. Congratulations, you've just created the 5th thread about the same topic. Not only that, you did it with a repost from one of those posts.

Threads 1-3 are about Feeley's suckage.. that has nothing to do with Gus. Thread 4 is about his age, not his history. This thread is completely original.

Oh, they lost a Giants game or something didnt they?

Ok, 4-1.

Not sure which one they lost, but I remember using this to defend the trade all last season.

They are about the same subject, AJ vs Gus, which this one is aswell.

This isnt about AJ Vs. Gus.. This is about Gus.. AJ is just an addendum to the argument.

If AJ is really the better choice, then he better start showing it soon. He may have a better chance against the second string on saturday. He has to make his case. All this talk about "more upside" and "better arm" is meaningless if he doesnt PERFORM. He needs to show that he is the better guy. Not just in short spurts too.

Both Frerotte and Feeley have most likely have gotten as good as they will. Frerotte has at least started in his 10 year career, the exception last year. Frerotte moved the team down the field last night, not to mention dug the team out of after Feeley went down. Feeley didn't move the team, Feeley is almost 30 and he's done nothing at all.

Hey I agree.. But he showed on Monday that he can play some good, mistake free football.. for a quarter anyway. :)

Gus played good too, better than Feeley, but again, not markedly better.. And there is a far greater historical record on Frerotte's failures..
