I'd take him over Philbin, Sparano, Cameron etc. Who knows if even he has any desire, seems like life is treating him just fine. Why would we ever want Gruden?
I don't expect him to coach, but I'd take him.

So you want to kill the Harbaugh talks and then you suggest Gruden?...lol. Classic finheaven.
Maybe he is using Oakland as leverage?
A Month from now the Phins could be 6-2 with Tannehill averaging 105.5 QBR and there would still be people who would want to replace Philbin and start Moore

If Philbin fails I want Hickey to hire the GM - not vice versa. How often has giving a megalomaniacal or GM-unqualified HC the keys to the kingdom worked out well? saban and Fisher are good examples. Throw in Wannstedt and you've thrown up more red flags than a Toreodor in Barcelona. Pete Carroll is the only one I can think of where it's worked well but Pete has a great and open personality and isn't a bull in a China Shop. Now if Hickey thinks he could work with Harbaugh, great. If not then no $ale.
Anything I read from bleacherreport I take with a grain of salt.
I'd take my sons Pee Wee coach over those 3. There is much better out there than Gruden.
There is no question that Dennis Hickey has grown on me. I hated the selection because he was one of the last of the men to actually want the gig. However, I loved some of his moves and improved the team.
Here is the deal…IMO…if this team fails this year and Joe is fired, Dennis Hickey should go too. A clean slate with a GM and HC with the same vision need to be put into place.
