Herald reporting leaked logo confirmed

That logo is substantially similar to the previously leaked version. It would violate trademark law to commercially call them different. In a court of law Dee's comment would be considered knowingly untrue and purposefully misleading.

In layman's terms, they're the same logo as the one released months ago and he lied. I don't know what else to tell ya man. I provided the video of him saying it at the same table as the owner and GM specifically to the NFL media.

Are you really using the US justice system to prove that what Dee said was incorrect? He probably did not know that there was a new leak of his logo at the time he said those words, and the one that was leaked last year is different than what the final was because they CHANGED IT.

not sure where you got that info. if one minor thing is changed on a picture/logo, it is no longer trademark. i can add a small blue line on the dolphin, and call it my own...

Earlier draft of then same logo ... Not a different logo. If the logo owner even said they were different his IP attorney would come down on him like a swarm of hornets for essentially giving the OK to the world to infringe on their trademark.

Are you guys serious? Are you that desperate in your attempt to try and call Mike Dee a liar? First it was the video, then it was the Armando tweet, and now you guys are backpedaling to the December rough sketch in your attempt to call him a liar. They are not the same, the shape is similiar, but they are not the same logo.

Above you will see two triangles, are they exactly the same to you guys?

Yes, because its the standard by which we are governed. I'm quite confident that if Finheaven decided to change their logo and start using the earlier leak logo, that they would very quickly receive a Cease and Desist letter warning them that they were using a logo that infringed on the owner of this new leak's intellectual property and that it either has or is in then process of obtaining a fully registered trademark. If you don't believe me, try it yourself. I'm sure the owner of the rights will contact you soon enough.

No one is denying that the December leak doesn't belong to the Dolphins. Dee denied that it was the final logo and it is not the final logo. I am sure there are other logo designs the team made that belong to them, but doesn't mean they are using it. Grasping for straws man.

I honestly get the impression from the business side of the Dolphins front office that they're just slow to react to stuff. My best guess is that Mike Dee really hadn't seen the logo that leaked at 1am the night before he was asked to give comment.

I'm more inclined to chalk this one up to incompetence than a deliberate attempt to lie to people.

Again, you will believe what you want because you want to rip the Dolphins and Mike Dee. The facts are there that he did NOT lie to the public. The fact that Digital and Doogies accusation of a lie comes from the video link that was supplied is proof that people will find ways to bash without understading what they are saying. How can Dee have lied about there being no leaks when he said it BEFORE the leak happened?

You then threw out the Armando tweet from the DAY OF the leak and assume that Dee held a special media press conference to address the leak? Or that Dee picked up the phone and decided to only call Armando in the media to tell him it wasn't real? Naive. Armando was obviously just reiterating what Dee said from the press conference he did with the media the DAY BEFORE.

The only lying that is going on is those trying to pass that video or tweet from the pess conference as being evidence in their weak case against Dee. Unless you three can provide facts and actual statements post "leak", we all know who the true liars are.

I'm pretty sure he thinks it's Mike Dee, who either lied or is enveloped in such a tightly wrapped cocoon that he hadn't seen the logo that exploded on the internet the morning he was asked for comment. I honestly think it's the latter, but I do believe that incompetence explains just about everything in life.
