Herald reporting leaked logo confirmed

No one is denying that the December leak doesn't belong to the Dolphins. Dee denied that it was the final logo and it is not the final logo. I am sure there are other logo designs the team made that belong to them, but doesn't mean they are using it. Grasping for straws man.

That type of semantics and persuasion might work in the bar, but I implore you not to try to use that reasoning in a court of law. Its simply not correct.

The comment Armando used was from the day before at the press conference with the media.

You don't know that. That's your speculation, because you believe it's ridiculous for Armando to call Deerp, like on the phone and everything, and ask him if the logo that had just leaked was the real deal.

The comment Armando used was from the day before at the press conference with the media.

Armando's Twitter post was extremely misleading then, as he posted it the morning after the logo leaked and said that Mike Dee had JUST said that the real thing wasn't out yet.

I honestly don't care if he was lying or not -- I think what's ridiculous in this whole thing is the way it's being handled by the team. They need to sack up and just unveil it already, let people see the new uniforms. All people have to go on now is a couple of logo sketches that few liked and a half a logo screen printed on a jersey taken on a cell phone camera, and can you blame folks for saying "wow that looks awful?"

This is like a case study on how not to handle customers who are emotionally invested in your product. Mike Dee apparently thinks he's selling rubber gaskets or something.

so what's the reasoning for revealing the logo on the 25th now, instead of the 18th? you would think they would unveil it sooner, rather than later? wouldn't it be a good thing that people be able to purchase their stuff, and maybe get it by the draft?

Supposedly, the NFL has pressured them to unveil the logo on the day of the draft.

He is the one they call... Deerp.

Please provide the proof he lied, I layed out my case against it pretty good and those who initiated the accusation have backed into a corner by trying to use the December rough sketch as proof. They tried to use the video, yet that press conference came the day before the "leak" of the official logo. Then they tried to use the Armando tweet as proof, though Armando never said when Dee told him this and it is very realistic that he was just going off what he said the day before at the press conference. I think it is very obvious that if Dee called Armando and lied to him, that Armando would have called him out for it in his story, blog or on twitter. Armando did not, which is more evidence that the quote came before the new "leak". Now they are using the December sketch, which while a similar shape, has a lot of differences that it is very fair to say it is not the final logo.

Again provide some actual proof of an incident where he flat out lied about the logo, I already shot down the other three attempts. It is one thing to say he lied and call him "Derp", but it is another thing to actually prove he lied. So far, you guys have failed.

Dude, no one is suing anyone! Who cares? He said something off the cuff in a quick interview. It could be completely true what he said - maybe he just didn't know.

They?

Why don't we wait until the actual logo is officially released before we decide who actually lied or not?

Again, if Dee called Armando and lied to his face, don't you think Armando would have mentioned that? This is the same sports writer that belittled Ben Volin for months because he said Sean Smith might get the franchise tag. I am sure if Mike Dee lied straight to Armando that he would have slipped in some sarcastic comment about it. He did not. My "speculation" on that tweet holds much more water than the "speculation" that Dee flat out lied to Armando. If that is the strength of your accusation it isn't much at all.

Bingo.

"The new logo hasn't been leaked yet."

Who sues over that? What's your case? And you'd have to PROVE that he had seen the logo that leaked at 1am the night before.

The only potential damage here to the Dolphins is to Dee's credibility.

Armando and Dee are very close. Salguero would never call him out in print.

Says you, whose opinion is irrelevant. If you're going to make the assertion that it's "very obvious" or "very realistic" that Armando didn't talk to Deerp the day of the leak -- which is not a fact and merely your opinion -- and then accuse others of making the exact same kind of assertion, only different from yours, then it's time for you to take a long look in the mirror.

He didn't tweet that he "just" told him that.

Armando Salguero said:
Folks, Dolphins CEO Mike Dee assures me the Dolphins logo has not been leaked anywyere. So there's that.

Just so happens that Dee "assured" Armando the day before at the press conference that there was no leaks. It is in the video on the team's website. There is no proof that Armando and Dee had an additional meeting or conversation the next day.

i'm missing the part where it matters if he lied about the leak... is it really an issue?
