2020 cant get here soon enough
Incredibly disappointed that Philbin chose to give up at the end of the first half. Basically he told his offense that he doesn't believe in them or trust them. What a great message to send to your players. Green Bay had the exact same scenario in their game with the Jets (and no I'm not comparing RT to A. Rodgers), just the situation. Jets up big and Green Bay with the ball at their own 2 yard line with 2 minutes to play. They go for broke and actually score a TD before the half. If we are going to lose, at least go down swinging for crying out loud.
Is 9 points consideredbeing up big? Did Aaron Rodgers have 7 net yards in the half to that point? Has Aaron Rodgers ever had negative yards in a quarter in his career? Do you really believe Philbin would ever raise the white flag like that if Aaron Rodgers was our QB?
Other than that the situations were very comparable though...
