Hoops scoops...fins chargers

The big thing with Hartline is, why is it so hard for him to keep his feet? Dude just can not stay upright. I don't understand it.

He could be such a better player if he wasn't out there like he was on a slip and slide.

I keep hearing how good his body control and balance is...he's a good route runner that somehow gets DBS to open their hips despite no rac threat or vertical speed who does nothing in the red...yet somehow a possession wr who falls at a stiff wind gets a 30 mil plus contract...he got the last laugh...

He does run good routes but the cushions he gets are assanine

Agreed on play design, a lot of it is obvious and Opposing Ds must find it an easy read and react. Very little creativity but aside from that the D bends like crazy and usually let's opposing O walk right down the field after a score. This is why all our wins seem to come down to the last drive.

Your last 2 lines other than adding in our oline play summarize 2013 in a nutshell...this defense is so much hype

Moving Pouncey to guard is a great idea. Garner was just fine as the center and like Ryan said Miami actually changed up snap count.

Garner at center was fine against that front...I'm not sure I think it will carry over...that said pouncey is obviously giving something away presnap and I know ck said something about that prior and he's spot on from what I saw today...on that at least...

But I also think seeing tannehill come to the Los and quick snap it was a breath of fresh air,..this thing is so headed to no huddle full blown folks...

Hartline doesn't suck, but he's not a number 2 and not worth the contract he got...I would much rather be running with Wallace, Matthews and Gibson...damn it sucks that Gibson is hurt...

I say resign dimitri to a one year deal like we did with grimes to try and prove he deserves a big contract. Hopefully after the offseason he'll be fully healthy and won't get reinjured

This team absolutely needs to run the no huddle and then make adjustments at the line. You were absolutely right about that, hoops.

You don't have to snap the ball right away. In fact, as we saw today, they were able to get the Chargers offsides by doing just that.

Sherman sucks. That pick is on him and the reason you have an offensive coordinator in the first place is so you don't become too predictable.

San Diego was jumping offside so much today because they are poorly coached, but then I guess you could say the same about Jerry's false starts.

It has always looked to me like he gets those cushions because
Of the way he runs his routes and his deceptive speed.

I liked that they ran him on slants a lot today.

On another note, why does every receiver motion except for Wallace?

Biggest surprise for me today was Daniel Thomas. One of his best games for the team. He showed more physical aggression than I knew he had. Full marks for a big improvement.

You and me both but Mathews in the slot does give us more threat down the seam...just not as consistent a slot as Gibby...hartline if he plays needs to be outside the numbers...running him into contact is a death sentence...

Anyways boss you get my vote as new poster of the year...your a football guy

I'm still mad about that Gibson injury. Dude just played with heart. You can't measure that at the underwear olympics.

Matthews is impressing me....good size, plays big and tough...I think more game experience is going to do wonders for his consistency...it is a shame Hartline got the contract he did....I almost feel like it was because he was the WR that Tannehill had the best rapport with.

I can't explain that...the way the run game today a max protect pa with 2 tight ends and Wallace motioning to the slot would have been a nightmare op for us but we just don't do it...we ran it more with bess and hartline last year which is assanine

Thats exactly why...he fits this o well but that's the extent of it...they didn't want tannehill dealing without a guy that does know the o and see it like the qb does...but you have no real big play ability or upside...

Remember this staff is all about what they are familiar and comfortable with and I think its a major flaw of theirs...they'd rather lose with status quo than try something new...

Mathews is the better long term player and better pro future...they better not let that get away the way they draft
