Strange as it may sound...I wouldn't consider the Pats game a blowout.

Good point. Me either. IF Bess scores or punch that in from one, it is one score game with 6 left to play.

We needed some big plays on D in the form of takeaways and it only happened once.

i predict the bye week if this continues sparanos gone...likely replaced by mike nolan on an interim basis...i'm not sure a 1-3 start saves sparano during the bye week even but 0-4 i think he's history...and if we lose to cleveland he damn well should be

How do you not consider it a blowout?? We were down by 21 pts at one time Brady threw for over 500 yrds, our o-line was manhandled all night, Pats are not the best team in the NFL yes their offense is way up there but as far as their d is concerned aside from their DT's they are soft.. You guys can blame Sapp, and Caroll I do a lot myself, but after watching that game again over 300yrds of passing for Brady went down the middle to tight ends where nobody was picking them up which deals a lot with the scheme. We were also very poorly conditioned which says a lot for the staff, you would think our team playing in this type of weather 5mnths out of the year would prepare us but no..

We were one yard away from it being a one-possession game in the 4th quarter. That 99 yarder happened out of desperation after we couldn't get in the endzone; we needed a safety/fumble/something, so we sent a blitz and rashad guessed slant (a good guess) looking for a pick, but welker went deep. We moved the ball well most of the night and kept the score within reach for 3+quarters. Another red-zone catch or two and that game goes down to the wire.

I wish there was a way to fire Ireland....that flaming douchebag should be the first b(tch shown the door.

It sounds weird to say, but if we lose at home to the Texans, a team we have yet to beat, I think our season is over. I don't see an interim coach on this staff worth a hill of beans as a head coach so I don't think Ross will axe him. I do see him gone if we don't make the playoffs (highly doubtful with this talent) and I see a coach like Gruden, or Billick jumping in next year.

If Miami gets thrashed again at home, Miami will not only be 0-2 but 0-2 at home already. 1-11 at home over a 12 game stretch will not make Stephen Ross a happy camper.

with the chargers and jets on the horizon. it could really get ugly. this could be a good team, and it could still really get ugly. we could be 0-4. and good team at 0-4. and that doesnt even make sense. but do u know how loud the noise gets at 0-4? and there is no way he keeps that locker room at 0-4. oh sure, i bet some players have his back etc. want to win for him etc. but they will have lost faith in his message, and the way theyve flip flopped on so many things....just no turning it around. it will be time for a new message. new voice. new direction. im just not sure ross can get it right. he gets as much wrong as these guys do. including not being able to close the deal last year on harbaugh

Pittsburg got blown out. Atlanta got blown out. We lost a tough game against a good team and had a chance to win with 6 mins left (Score from the one yard line and we're down 7)

No blowout .... just a tough loss.

Oh my friend that was absolutely a blow out!
The only difference was that our offense played so well that were able to put up points. So I will say that was
the worst defensive outing I have ever seen from us. We couldn't stop what we knew was coming!

Not to beat a dead horse but I just can't get over that WE were the ones that were being affected by the heat!
NE had the home field advantage and I am still sick over it. The good news is that we have no where to go but UP!!!

Bingo!!! Ireland is worse than Tony. 4 years of bad drafts and worse free agency. Wasting 2nd, 3rd and 4th round picks on guys who add nothing. And no excuse for not going after Bryant McKinney when he was cut. BAL got him (and Gurode) b/c they have one of the best GMs in the league. And their OL kicked PIT's butt.

Ireland gave $5m per year to a punt returner and wants him to be a power back, and he actually made the OL worse - if that was even possible.

Bad GM decisions on all the coaching staff too.

Ireland is awful.

if we arent 500 or above by midpoint i think he will be looked at under a microscope...if hes around come week 17 and we finish sub 500 then hes out

No blow out???? LOL That was the MOTHER of all BLOW OUTS!!

Most yards given up by the Dolphins ... EVER!!

Most yards gained up by the Patriots ... EVER!!

And if that's not Blow Outey enough ... that landed Brady like #6 or so in most Game Passing Yards in the entire history of the NFL.

That there was a Big BLOW!!
