How Many Wins in 2013 was Ryan Tannehill Responsible for?

And as a PHAN, you accept that, and do not dispute it from a Jets fan? GODDAMNIT!!! That's embarrassing.

I have no idea what the hell you're talking about. The Dolphins haven't done anything in 40 years. What does that have to do with Junc? He doesn't make stuff up about Miami and their lack of playoff success. It isn't about me accepting anything except factual information.

Embarrassing? I'd say it's embarrassing the Dolphins last appearance in the Super Bowl is 30 years ago.

He actually improved no more than does the average QB from rookie year to year two:

http://www.finheaven.com/showthread...cond-Year-Starter-at-QB-since-1994&highlight=

Is that better than regressing or not improving at all? Sure, but I don't think we should make a big deal of improvement that should be expected likely by virtue of playing experience. It's not like he made a quantum leap out there.

So 12 touch downs is the exact same as 24 touchdowns.:confused2:and all 2nd year QB's double their TD ratio?

Sounds like someone is rewriting the book of logic and we are the guinea pigs.

Also do you realize how much this sentence below says absolutely nothing?"He actually improved no more than does the average QB from rookie year to year two"These types of threads make me seas sick:puke:

Just going to stop reading these threads. It's funny you have a galaxy pic, that is where you have to search to find all of this Tannehill crap.

He also had a much higher completion %.

Well in a year, where Miami had pretty much no O-line in 1st half, then inconsistent O-line in the 2nd half, in a year where Miami continued to lose receiving talent all through the year, in a year where two O-linemen tried to become one of the biggest distractions of the year, Miami still did well enough where they were in the drivers seat to get in the playoffs.

No the only numbers that matter is how many SB did you reach, and win.

played in a safer offense, same O from college days and I think comp % is very overrated anyway.

Your Ol was fine, not great but took way too much blame. Miami still had excellent receiving talent through all the injuries.

They were in the drivers seat, needed 1 win in the last 2 weeks. Ryan led your O to 7 pts total.

mark has played for the right to represent his conference in the AFC, that's much more than Ryan has done.

I do believe you're a nutjob. That's 1 insult. Not multiple as you alluded to. I don't know how many sacks were "his fault". Since you do, tell me how many were on him.

Tannehill didn't keep Pittsburgh in the game. Miami was up 17-14 before that pick 6. He throws the pick 6 and they trailed 21-17. He then threw a TD to Hartline to put Miami back up 24-21. The defense, who is full of Pro Bowlers, gave the lead back up on a pass to Cotchery that gave Pittsburgh a 28-24 lead. Tannehill again throws a TD pass to put Miami back up 31-28. He then led another drive that resulted in an additional 3 points that gave Miami a 34-28 lead.

The defense, full of Pro Bowlers still, was an inch away from blowing it on the last play to Brown.

You always post passive aggressive insults b/c you can't keep up in discussions. It's ok, I still like you.

The defense won the game for you.

The improvement this year does not show on the stats but, still exist, I believe he learned more in the Jets final loss than he could have with a win. You could see it in him post game.

You have reason to worry. RT will be VG or better this year. COUNT ON IT!!!!

I don't buy that, he would have learned much more by finding a way to win and getting some postseason experience.

Could be that offense did not work in college, as well as in the NFL, and that the QB had little to do with it, even though Tannehill did have a season at QB buttfumble would wish he could come close to. As to the comp % being overrated for you, well, if buttfumble has a high completion percentage, I am sure you would not look at it as overrated anymore.

Yea OK, Miami set a new franchise record on giving up most sacks ever, and Miami could not run the ball consistently, but it was not the O-line, it was everyone else, the Line was fine...sure.

After all he went through this year, it's amazing he reached those games with above average stats. Was it disappointing how he played in those games? Yes, but he is still a young QB, and he did still have to go against two top passing defenses.

If Miami had a O-coordinator that was a bit more imaginative, yet know when not to take chances, it might have been a different story.

mark has played for the right to represent his conference in the AFC, that's much more than Ryan has done.

And Mark looked great handing the ball off both those seasons. Ryan unfortunately did not have a running game, so he had to throw, he did not have as good an O-line protecting him back there, but still had better stats then any year buttfumble had.

Mark 2010 was head and shoulders better than what Ryan did this year.

Many of those sacks were b/c of a QB not knowing to do w/ the ball.

it's not amazing, he had playoff caliber talent around him. The best receivers to throw to in the division.

Wilson is a young QB, keep is a young QB, mark was a young QB in 2009 and 2010. I don't buy the young QB excuse.

yep, it's all Sherman's fault just like it was all Henning's fault a few years ago.

He could have better stats, mark was the better QB making big time throws in big time games.

Sounds like a deflect to me. You certainly have performed well in the art of deflection.

you don't even know what deflection is.

Let's see. You and I disagree on mostly everything but I'm the one who doesn't know squat. I'm the one who can't keep up. These are your views.

So instead of you being wrong or ill-informed once, once all these years, it's me who is the nitwit who doesn't know anything.

You deflect from reality by putting all the criticism on me.

I could be wrong at times but not when we discuss things b/c it is clear you don't even read my posts. When you actually read my posts and debate the points I bring up maybe we could have a fun discussion but you just like to throw in passive aggressive insults and ignore the topics. I used to think you were better than that but unfortunately this posting style has become the norm for you(at least in regards to me).

he didn't start b/c he got hurt. If healthy he starts and we make the playoffs- the land where Ryan Tannehill has never been.

He got hurt because his coach knew he wasn't going to start so he left him in a meaningless part of a preseason game.

Will he be the Jets starter next season in your opinion? If not, why not? Clearly if Sanchez is the difference, he'll start next season.

he was going to start w/o question.

Unfortunately he will be released, I hope we sign him back but on top of the baggage from the 2012 season he is coming off a serious injury to his throwing shoulder so I would expect he will sign elsewhere. Hopefully not in Miami as I don't want to see you guys go to the playoffs.
