I hate this Coaching staff! They let Ricky go to the Ravens?

You guys are all off base, the fact is the dude still has skills and as for the coaching staff, well **** them their own owner trashed them and you all do it everyday! I just get tired of guys like Welker going other places and being awesome because our coaches think they are either to small or to old or whatever stupid reason. The dude ran behind a **** line last year and should have been ahead of Ronnie in the first place.

**** Ricky! The mediocrity began when we traded the farm for him!

He quit to smoke dope a few years back. Then last year he throws the QB, head coach, and offensive assistant coaches UNDER THE BUS in the media and SOME of you people still want to root for him and want him back?

If he ran over your dog would you throw him a parade? I never got the never-ending Ricky-LOVE-FEST!! He was a horrible teammate and a dark cloud that hung over this franchise for guess what, the 10 WORST years in the Dolphins history!! Not a coincidence!!

O, that's rite we got an unproven rookie (second round) and a broken back mountain back in Reggie, they both cost us to much, Ricky would have been a cheep insurance policy.

Gonna make this a Welker comparison? Really? He is 34, played pretty soft last year, and his speed is all but gone. We had to make a move to get younger at RB. No better time then now. We sucked every possible mile out of Ricky and Ronnie, and extending our relationships with them would have been a bad move for the orginization as a whole. Time to get some fresh legs.

I'm more surprised that someone thanked the OP's post more than anything else

I think ricky might do some damage with the ravens

One thing I really hated about Ricky last year was that he was on his butt too easily after they touch him.... It looked like he was not the same Ricky who could run over a couple of defenders.

I was hoping they would bring Ricky back too. I'm not sure we should rely on Bush and a rookie at rb but I guess we can only wait and see.

I have no problem with people critiscizing him for the right reasons..... But come on... You are off base with the "horrible teammate" comment. The rest of the team who has been praising him on his work ethic, how much he helped them and how GREAT a teammate he was would disagree with you.

If you think he threw the team under the bus guess what? Taylor/Fasano/Marshall/ Hartline you might as well cut them as well.

He didn't run over anyone's dog. He said what 90+ % of us on this board was thinking, including probably yourself, the nation, and experts all most likely agreed with what he said.

While we are at it let's also cut Henne. He did alot worse then Ricky did last year. He pretty much admitted Football didn't matter to him. Atleast Ricky always gave 100%

Like I said, critiscize him? Sure he deserves alot. But knock the man for the right reasons not a reason everyone else on the team Sparano probably included would disagree with you.

I didn't see any teammates coming out saying they wish we didn't ct Crowder and wish we would get him back. But a couple came out and wanted Ricky back

Hate? people love the use of that word around here. The only thing I hate are the Jets and terrorists.

I would have been more hurt about ronnie signing with the eagles..You have to play him this year and he is much younger and explosive then ricky..

OP...would you rather he went to the Pats or the Jets?

I'm going to miss Ricky. In a league full of players that can barely put a coherent sentence together, Ricky is arguably one of the most (if not, THE most) unique, intelligent and introspective professional athletes out there...in any of the big three leagues.

To all of those folks who are still bitter about him 'retiring', get the **** over it already. And to those who refer to the guy as a 'pothead', I'm guessing you're either 'old' or just not too bright in general.

i would not be surprised if the pats or jets offered ricky a deal
he probably turned them down not to be in the dolphins division.
